NFL now is exploring playing a game on Thanksgiving Eve as early as this season. This year this would be Wednesday, Nov. 25.

Court documents viewed by multiple outlets show that Pearce has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, fleeing and eluding police, and resisting an officer with violence to his or her person after a February 7 incident involving his ex-girlfriend. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of stalking.

You think think losing an all pro (Lloyd) in the prime of their career for magic beans is doing it right?
You're distorting the issue. Losing the all pro is already a given here as I'm not talking about the woulda/shoulda of re-signing players. NOT going after tons of FAs/expensive stars in FA when you lose your own players to FA is a sound strategy for a good team. We are not a good team. This is an indictment on Monti's roster building. Us signing a bunch of backups and lower level FAs is hurting the long-term roster construction.

You didn't ask me, but I think the idea of passing on giving large contracts to Lloyd, Etienne, and Newsome and having a good enough core to get a 4th, 5th and 6th round picks for them is solid.

Another easy example is this.

Because the Cardinals signed Seumalo, Minshew, Lopez, Allgeier and Bourne, they will not be awarded a 5th round pick for losing Jalen Thompson.

In 2023, the Cardinals could have been awarded a 4th round pick for Zach Allena and a 5th for Byron Murphy. Instead those picks were canceled out because they signed Froholdt, Kyzir White and Joshua Dobbs.

It's smart for the Ravens and teams that usually have roster replacements. I'm not so certain that's true for Jacksonville

Losing a 27 year old All Pro, you better have a good roster replacement, or it's a downgrade for magic beans.

Dobbs was a trade.

Oluokun is still under contract and they are paying him 17 mil. Also drafted Ventrell Miller in 2024. I get not wanting to pay multiple off ball LBs especially ahead of a good ILB draft class.

The Titans are shopping Will Levis in return for a Day 3 pick swap.

Tennessee would clear $2 million moving off Levis, which they’re eager to do as they continue building their roster around Cam Ward.

Levis was not around the team last season after deciding on shoulder surgery.

Los Angeles Rams HC Sean McVay has spoken openly about how, earlier in his career, he believed grinding with little sleep was a badge of honor.

Over time, he realized that approach was unsustainable, especially as a head coach responsible for managing players, staff, and constant pressure.

He has since emphasized the importance of sleep, mental health, and sustainable routines, saying leaders who work with people need healthy habits to manage stress effectively:

"I used to think it was cool to get away with not sleeping. That’s the dumbest sh*t I’ve ever heard. When your job is to deal with people, you need to establish health habits to sustain [yourself] when there’s a lot of external stressors."
