He'll be in MN, which will, once and for all, remove any shred of an opportunity for Kyler's apologists, to make excuses. Maybe he'll play well enough to put the Vikes in the post season on a consistent basis. Or, maybe not. But he'll be on a Vet minimum deal, making slightly more than $1m from the Vikes and attempting to earn a second big contract. Will be interesting to watch!

So sick of this narrative. Many of us did not want him to be our pick when we had the top pick. Many of us wanted Quinnen Williams. We already should have had our QBOTF with Lamar Jackson, but the team had gone with Josh Rosen instead.

Still, as fans of the team, we hoped for the best with Kyler. For 7 years. 7 years. Clearly, he was not the right choice to help us here in the desert and we are ready to move on. A change of scenery will be beneficial to us all.

That doesn't make people ready for this change haters, racists, or anything other labels you want to throw at us. We are Cardinals fans who want to see something different moving forward. Period.

One I also wanted LJack, too bad we are a turd franchise that doesn’t know talent (Brissett/Minshew) are the latest examples.

The team has done a piss poor job of building talent for this team for decades and the time during K1s tenure has been no different. Crap FAs, terrible drafts, terrible coaches, terrible front office.

Who brought up race bro? Take a step back and relax on that.

You got your change and now we all have to look at more terrible football after Monti and the Hillbilly have ran off legitimate talent.

That is exactly correct.

There won’t be anywhere to hide for either side. I look forward to it as someone who has called all of this right since the beginning of the season.

Can’t Frickin Wait!

Mediocre play on a terrible franchise is so shocking.

KW couldn’t even win 11 games in a season here.

Matt Stafford, Sam Darnold, Baker Mayfield, even the craptastic Geno Smit has shown what can be done when you escape turd franchises like ours. K1 is for sure better than Darnold and Smith. Gonna be rough when the season starts and he’s throwing dimes to JJ in Minny.
Darnold >> Kyler.

Darnold has been the starting QB of two teams that made the playoffs and one that won a Super Bowl.

Kyler couldn't even win a game to clinch the playoffs, had to back in, and then flopped horribly in his only playoff appearance.

No comparison at all, so far in their careers.

Also - KW won the division without winning 11 games. And took this team to a Super Bowl.

I’m not overly concerned.

Im sure you were pining for Darnold when he played for the Jets.

Please take a seat you are looking ridiculous .
What do the Jets have to do with anything? Just comparing the two players. I bet Kyler would tell you that Darnold has done better than him in the NFL. Been on two teams in the Super Bowl and had another great season with a playoff team in Minnesota. The Jets? LOL

I can post dumb cherry picked plays as well for every single QB in the league.

Please don’t be lazy in your posts.

I’d love for you to produce a supercut of Matt Stafford ****** where he does one thing as dumb as this.

This is going to end up legendary. This and the face snap.

The Sanchize might have done the butt-fumble but he also went to two conference championships.

More people that don’t know how this works.

Wait till you find out that we won’t be able to draft the best QB in the draft next year even if we have the number 1 pick.

Gonna be a shock for a lot of you that don’t understand the NFL and QBs.
Unless he had a no trade clause in his contract, which I don't believe he did (and if he did, then I'm wrong & I apologize), then he has no control over where he could've been traded. Thus, the choice would never have been his. Once released, then the choice is ALL his where he goes.

That's all I was saying.

Buddy, sorry to tell you this but yes he did. Hence why he wasn’t traded plus the contract that the boneheads signed him to.The Cards themselves said they tried to trade him and couldn’t. They cloaked in the contract but K1 is going to exactly the team he wants to and absolutely wanted him.

Then as I said, I am wrong & I apologize.
They still might be able to trade him to the Vikes but that would take the Vikes wanting to do that since they know he is signing there anyway.

The whole situation is terrible because Monti totally botched this situation all season.

There was zero reason to bench K1 and turn to Brissett for this exact reason. It created such bad blood between the K1 camp and the Cards which was fragile to begin with.

Had K1 started JG would still have a job and they probably could have been able to move K1 since both parties probably would have been good with moving on.

Total idiots in the FO.
