Considering we could have drafted a Bijan Robinson at 3, why not just do that instead of wasting money on a guy who probably won't beat out Trey Benson.

I'm a huge fan of this signing. This guy is tough and team player. No distractions will come with this guy. He wasn't fully used in Atlanta obviously because of Bijan Robinson, but this dude is a legit bruiser. This is a great signing.

6 million a year for a legitimate talented starting player is the biggest value in free agency. He's a younger James Conner! Its not like we just signed Rachaad White.

Not true. Demaercado's role only elevated because of injuries. If Conner and Benson stayed healthy, we wouldn't see him in the backfield.

this is a guy who always seems to get two extra yards

He has averaged 3.6 yds per carry for his career & is said to be very reliable.

He's a James Conner clone except he's 25 years old. I know people will be dissapointed in not taking Love, but Allgeier is a legitimate starter level running back. I personally think he's the best value player in free agency.

I'm just glad we're not rolling into the season with 31 year old Conner coming off a horrific injury and Trey "blue tent" Benson as the main plan.

This. Don’t expect home runs. We will miss that from not drafting love. But he’s Conner-esque. It’s fine. Nothing to be excited about.
