That would be an incorrect argument.

Guys out here advocating trading or releasing a pro bowl S like the team didn't just win 3 games in 2025. Shedeur out here shaking his head at all of you.
Dude. You gonna pull the pro bowl card?
Dude only makes it because people like to say his name...
But I guess he can at least point to shader Sanders and claim he ain't the worst player there

Those numbers are accurate if he is cut but from what OTC shows if he is traded he saves $13million with $6 million in dead cap. Even for a mid-late round pick that seems pretty appealing in terms of saving.
Especially in a year where we need a QB and only have about 20m in cap space...stretch that to 33m and we are sitting pretty good.

Wouldn’t care if BB was traded or cut, really don’t remember many big plays from him last year or two.

Willis is a FA
Oh well then... I guess they would jump on that offer!!

Ya think 2 yes @ 36mil with 20mil guaranteed gets it done??
I heard he is expected to get in the 20m a year range...but a fat guarantee usually allows for a lower overall cost

You want to start the team turnaround with a S tandem of ??? and DTD who played in 12 games this season for a 5th round pick (which I don't think you would get) in a bad draft? How is that building a roster? Better to just keep him for 2026 and then cut him loose in 2027.
...or sign a vet safety for much less than we were overpaying Baker, who will give us just as much.

At age 25, Wilson logged his first 1,000 yard season, and a lot of that success is thanks to extensive reps as the No. 1 option at wide receiver with Marvin Harrison Jr. being absent for fie games.

With the 13 mil generated from a trade, you can make that argument. It's reasonable to be able to sign a 9 mil guy and then use the other 4 somewhere else which would help alleviate any decrease in talent.

The 5 mil from just being cut, not so much.

That's why I said trade him no matter what. A 6th? Cool, we'll take it. I could see a contender like maybe Baltimore doing that.

I want to see BB traded for his sake. He gives his all every snap and throws his body around with reckless abandon. All while constantly making the pro bowl and being voted as one of the top 100 players in the league.
He isn't appreciated by many cards fans so trade him to the Ravens or whatever contender is out there.

Someone's got a crush lol Unfortunately, he's just not very good for us any longer. Yeah, yeah, he's a good rah rah, gives his all type of guy, but he's not an impactful player now. NFL stands for Not For Long.

GLENDALE – The Arizona Cardinals have been losing fan support for the past few years. In two of the last three seasons, Arizona has had 13 or more losses, including a franchise record 14 losses last season. Despite the poor results, owner Michael Bidwill is still finding ways to luxury, but expensive, gameday plans like Casa Roja at the Fifty this past season.

However, signing with the receiver-needy Steelers or pursuing a reunion with the 49ers also makes sense. Though the Cardinals have a decent amount of cap space, it's hard to imagine Samuel signing with a non-contending team at this stage of his career

With the Jets holding the No. 2 overall pick in April’s draft, it would not surprise me if they tried to move more pieces in an effort to gain more draft capital. Running back Breece Hall is a name to watch, and many insiders believed that the team would try to shop him along with Gardner and Williams.

“Right now, they need to figure out what their quarterback situation is for the future,” Watt said Wednesday. “When you’re a head-coaching candidate and you’re sitting there and looking at opportunities, the No. 1 first thing you’re looking at is who’s the quarterback of the team and is this somebody that I can build off of. Am I going to tie myself to this and my personal success, knowing this might be my only shot at the apple? Can this be my future?

I agree and I appreciate him more than most. He's been pretty bad as of late, but we have so few all-time Cardinals who are worthy of even being mentioned in casual football conversation that when a Budda comes along, you appreciate him and wish him the best when he's gone. Heck, Micheal Floyd is still one of my favorite Arizona Cardinals. How sad is that?

Maybe. Either father time is winning or he has spent the past three seasons under bad coaching, bad scheme, and with bad teammates.
