Does it matter has any other coach coached in 12 total Superbowls and won 8? 6 as a HC?

Yes, there are coaches who were first-ballot Hall of Famers. The only coaches who were inducted on their first attempt are:
  • Don Shula (1997)
  • Chuck Noll (1993)
It was just a question and I was being lazy in looking it up

I guess one can't break the rules and cheat and not expect some kind of reprisels. Yes Billacheat deserves to be in the HOF but I have zero issues with him having to wait. In fact I fully agree with the slap on the wrist.
Now I'll really run this off the tracks, should Pete Rose be in the HOF?
Yes he should.
Pete always bet on his guys to win..never threw a game..just doubled down on his faith in his team.

the day Pete got banned was the day I stopped watching MLB.

forking hypocrites...got mob bosses and casino owners in the owners box then want to penalize a guy for betting on his own team to win.

But Pete never corked a bat or injected his way to a home run title.

Pete Rose and Johnnie Bench were my baseball heroes when I was a kid.

Yeah an absolute crazy mind blowing move by the voters who were more worried about sneaking another long timer in with at least 11 votes instead of the greatest NFL QB of all time. Absolutely disgusting.

Ohhhh well I guess that means I’ll see less Pats peeps in Canton in August after we purchased our tickets to the event 2 weeks ago too see Larry Legend .

Maybe Pete couldn't read.

There was a sign in every dressing room that stated that betting is illegal.

Who he bet for was irrelevant.

This is beyond dumb and only the extreme haters will be on the side of the voters who did this. He should have been a first ballot HOF for what he did with the Giants and beating the greatest show on turf in 2001. if he retired the day after that SB victory, he would have been first ballot worthy. The 2001 SB was the biggest upset of my lifetime.

If Polian led this, he and many of his players that lost a lot of superbowls should have waited too. but we know those standards were not always implemented. The 90's bills have basically a similar amount of HOFers compared to the 90's cowboys which IMO doesn't seem right if you look back with 20/20 vision. the mindset is that dallas had a great OL that propelled Emmitt's stats, yet only Larry Allen is in the HOF from the 90's cowboys. Allen was a rookie in 94 and was the weak link of the OL when Dallas lost to SF in the NFC title game. Allen's dominance didn't really start until the later 90's when John Madden hyped him. Emmitt's best years were before Allen arrived. So, there is always BS attached with the hall and arguments about who is better than who. Yet with Bellicheck there is no doubt that he embodies a HOF coach if there ever was one.
