This guy has been fantastic.

He's a dog on defense, he makes smart plays and his rebounding, especially on the offensive glass is nuts for a guy his size. It seems like twice per game he sneaks in for an easy put back in the paint.

He was huge the last 2 games.

"goody goody putbacks"

been posting that a lot during games - they keep asking him how he tracks the ball and he keeps says he doesn't - just gives himself a chance but if you watch he's finding the open space often next to two bigs fighting for position - goody sneaks in and puts it right back in

and we've all seen the goody goody defense - watched him win a game with a free throw (after missing the first) dude is definitely thread worthy

Having Gillespie, Goodwin and Bouyea all play so well is almost an embarrassment of riches for the Suns. I can’t see how we keep all three next year.

Goodwin would be my top priority. They have more control over Bouyea so I see him sticking around. Teams may look at Gillespie as a potential starter so he'll be harder to keep beyond just the money.

They own his bird rights. They will just pay tax on him

Yeah. I think you are right with Gillespie. He is playing himself to a bigger contract than what we can pay. Unless he just really wants to stay here, he will have better options. If he is the starting pg going forward, then maybe he stays.

But then what do we do with Green? Do we start Gillespie, Green and Book and bring Royce off the bench? Using Jalen Green as the “microwave” (Vinnie Johnson style) has its appeal for this year.

Maybe Green becomes the 6th man. We have control of him for a while. Imagine throwing Green out there just as the other teams starters are starting to get winded.

kinda cool we have to wait until the offseason - get to see how the team finishes the season and performs in the playoffs but from what i gather everybody is clutch - everybody got tested way back in the summer training camp - the bench responded exceptionally well

can't wait to watch the goody mob play defense tonight- usually the last one in off the bench but it's when all the fun begins
