gotta keep gillespie and goody - both equal parts of the formula
I'm okay as long as they don't trade away my favorite non-star Suns player. So far I've narrowed my favorite down to Collin Gillespie, Jordan Goodwin, Royce O'Neal, Grayson Allen, Jammy Bouyea, Dillon Brooks, Mark Williams and Oso Ighodaro. Oh and if possible, I'd like to keep Livers too although if he has to be included to make a good deal work, then fine. He probably isn't going to get much real game time going forward barring injuries.

I really did not believe we could get whole without selling Devin but what we've done in one short offseason challenges that assumption. Apparently, JJ might have been right (and very wrong). Assuming you have the right staff and are committed to scouting and development, the draft is much less important than many of us have always thought.

Yeah you still have to draft (or sign) intelligently. But OTT now, and franchises such as Miami before, have shown us all that you can raise players a level or two with the right coaching and system around them.

As I view it, Devin is the central star in the Suns solar system.

Another way to look at it, he is the nucleus of the atom and the Suns are putting electrons around him.

Since I had the same assumption, I can say with certainty, it hasn't been challenged it's been blown away.

kinda cool we have to wait until the offseason - get to see how the team finishes the season and performs in the playoffs but from what i gather everybody is clutch - everybody got tested way back in the summer training camp - the bench responded exceptionally well

Good point, we will have a much clearer picture of who to keep and who is expendable based on playoff performances.

This'll be interesting.

They play every game now like it's a playoff game. The only way they usually get beat is when the opposing team also plays this way.

So they'll be tried and tested in battle conditions by the time the POs roll around.

Goodwin has been in a shooting slump for several games. Were he to shoot better 3s, he'd have stayed in the game vs Hawks longer to harass McCollum who killed us off the bench.

Jalen Green on teammate Jordan Goodwin and sharing the floor with him in the second unit:“I love Goodie. He’s probably one of the best defenders I’ve ever played with, hands down. He takes pride on that defensive end and just bringing energy every night. That’s very big for our group.”

Our best on ball defender, the leader of the bench, our main hustle guy.

I really hope he didn't pop his achillies. Devastating for us, devastating for him, a guy having a career year.

I've loved watching him, 2 or 3 times a game he zips through out of no where to grab a loose ball or tip a board in.

IMO, he's been, one of our 5 most important players all year long.

Him (hurt)
Booker (hurt)
Brooks (hurt)
Grayson (perpetually day to day)
Gillespe... not hurt but slumping of late... probably because we're asking a lot of him with everyone else hurt.
