We are talking the cardinals.

Well I assume a trade up when he rightfully falls.

If we take him at 3 we are absolutely FUBAR'd for the next 2 years.

He sucked in college with a mid team around him. Why would we reach at 3 with a bad team around him?

Yup. Very poor QB class even if Moore comes out.
No on QBs. There is no legit first round pic until analysts inflated Mendoza and Moore because NFL GMs always looking for franchise QB to save their jobs. No short QBs. That bridge has been lit on fire and blown up. No one with short track records or played FCS or transferred because they couldnt win the job. So no on this year QB class. Gannon has a year to win. Find a FA or trade for a vet QB. The Big Red needs wins next year not more learning curve. Position for QB of the future next year. Bidwill does not need an expensive QB next year since he will be paying Murray to sit on the bench on another team or getting another GM and HC fired if he plays for another team.

Please just interview the pick first to make sure he is an acceptable pick who will contribute to our success. Also check his closet to make sure he doesn't own a pink pin-striped suit for draft day.

They can own any suit if they can sling it deep quickly. That's all I am looking for after today

The best FA QB is Malik Willis who is reportedly 6 ft but I believe that as much as I believe Kyler is 5'10 and Micheal is 6 ft. I have stood next to Micheal and I tower over him at 5'10

No track record and FCS. Why transfer from Auburn FBS to Liberty FCS?

Assuming there's no way to get Mendoza take the best player on the board which for me is Bain but I would be ok with Bailey too if the cards like him.

Can't go in locked on a position just take the best player we have so many holes we need to get an impact guy.
our biggest holes are in the coaching staff...our position coaches sukk ass...players come here, and get worse.
we need several firings... D Line,...Backers coach,...O Line coach...WR coach...all 4 of those dudes just gotta go.

He’s very disruptive no doubt, but there is concern out there. I also wonder if he’s a bit similar to Nolen.

i've seen that and who knows. I would just say this. Last year Brugler had Travis Hunter as the top prospect, Abdul Carter next, Ashton Jeanty third and Mason Graham 4th. I'm sure there are NFL teams who think his arms are too short, I guess the concern is defending the run is harder with shorter arms to keep the OL off them but it hasn't been a problem for him so far .

I said it in another thread I prefer him but I would be fine with Bailey. I don't like Faulk. I like Peter Woods but I think 3 is too high for him. I like Downs but again too high for him. Don't like Simpson.

yer so fullashyte!!
I pressed Mendoza as our first round pick here on this site over a year ago while he was with CAL...
Dude is legit...would have gone top 5 last year...would go top 5 next year.
dude wins games because...bet this...not because he is a great athlete...but because..are you ready??... Because he is a student of the game. He studies tape like high schoolers ********...several times a day...

you add that work ethic to the mental acuity of a guy who earned a scholarship to YALE...and throw in an arm that can make all the NFL throws...know what you got??
You got a quality starting NFL Quarterback.

But its moot...we aint gonna get Mendoza anyway....not even Baby Bowl Cut is stupid enough to trade away that pick this year.

so yeah,...second round QB....yay....

History shows we are probably fubar anyways.

Absolutely risky, but what other course of action do they have? Technically they would have their choice of whatever player they want that isn’t a qb, but unfortunately this team is going nowhere without addressing that position.

We would be laughed out of the building. You can get him in 3/4/5
