Knowing everything that we know now, and how many people want Monti to go, I wonder how many people would rather have Keim instead of Monti... and why?

Keim. Drunk or not he was better at player acquisition and more successful. What could anyone possibly point to in 3 years of Monti? He's better at looking like a thumb?

Would isolate Keim after BA was gone - and I would take Monti over Keim, easily, and I am not a fan of Monti so far.

Okay BA left after 2017 so BA went 31 and 50 so 38% still greater than 31%

You have to give some credit to Keim for that BA era. He is the one who stole Palmer for a 6th round pick.

Keim's fingerprints are nearly completely gone from this team - in a very short amount of time. This article is from just last year.

Update to this year, only 4 Keim draft picks are still on our roster (and at least one is not for long):

Kyler Murray, Trey McBride, Zaven Collins, and Jalen Thompson.

Monti is still paying for Keim's mistakes. you could sign some good free agents with the $45M a year Kyler is being paid, and we still have another to go.
THE WHOLE POINT OF YEAR ONE WAS TO START FROM SCRATCH!! Using Kyler as an excuse still is just beyond weak - nobody forced them to stick with Kyler, and if the FO forced them to stick with Kyler, who's fault is that?

And made some very good Keim time picks and has to get credit for bringing Arians in in the first place.

Without a doubt it’s Keim just for the Arians era alone.

Gonti’s era has been two atrocious seasons with one mediocre one in the middle on the road to nowhere.

Kyler and Jalen will be gone. Budda Baker should also be on your list.

But Monti built a lot of this roster on the back of Keim FA signings like James Conner and Will Hernandez who Gonti still hasn’t been able to replace.

Calais Campbell was a Rod Graves selection!

That'll teach me to trust Theo Mackie. He wrote that article for the Arizona Republic and it got reposted by Yahoo. No mention of Baker. Although, I honestly should have caught that. Doh.

Also - Calais is a stud. (Rod Graves not so much) :D

98.7 yesterday "We have spent all this draft capital and free agency dollars to fix the cornerback room, maybe we can divert some of that attention to the interior of the offensive line"

#1. The cornerback room still isn't fixed.
#2. You can fix more than one thing in 3 years

We were promised the same ol crap, build through the trenches, do it through the draft the "right way". Just noises coming out of face holes that don't jibe with reality.

I pick Keim as Monti does nothing during the season to improve the team. No wavier wire pick-ups , no free agents signings just nothing. Plus Keim made some excellent trades. Three years in and the roster is terrible.

Say what you want about Keim, but at least he had some good years and his teams were entertaining. Boring and bad is the absolute worst in any form of entertainment, and that's all we've gotten from the current regime.

I'm not quite sure how I feel. This season skews a lot for me. I'm sure there is some recency bias with how terrible we have ended the season...

I feel like the GM put the team in a position to succeed this season, being in so many close games. It is the players and the coaching that failed this team this year. I don't believe that this team is as talented as the others in the division, but I believed that we should have been able to compete with them.

You can blame Monti (and the coaching staff) for not getting more from the players he has selected.

As much as I hated Keim and wanted him to go, I'm probably leaning towards him today.
