On offense

1 - Demontrey Jacobs played 37 snaps, 56%. Not sure if Fryar got hurt or not, but we are at this point of the year.

2 - Michael Carter played 80% of snaps due to Knight getting injured and Demercado not playing. He isn't good but again, this is the time of the year we are in.

3 - With the WR room being what it is, Higgins played 70% of snaps.

4 - Jalen Brooks played 71% of snaps. Yeah...you read that correctly.

On offense will only had 2 quality NFL players. Wilson and McBride. It is amazing we scored 20 points with this roster.

On defense.

1 - Nolen paced the DL room with 61% snaps and ended the game healthy to my knowledge. That is nice.

2 - No idea if Burke got hurt or benched but Darren Hall played 63% of snaps to Burke's 39%. Darren Hall isn't good.

3 - Vets are getting the "let's see what we have in the young guys" treatment once the game is out of reach it seems.

4 - I hate watching our ILBs. They are not good. The only reason I am adding that here is because they play so much.

EDIT - I forgot both JT and DTD were out so maybe Hall played for the also bad Kitan Crawford. Maybe Burke didn't play because we didn't run much nickel.

I think Fro is an ok player but your point mostly stands. This is an impressively bad group.

Regarding Jacobs and Fryar, I think Gannon said the game plan was to get both of them snaps.

That wasn't on him. That was on Crawford. They were running two high, and Collins ran an over from the slot behind Crawford who bit the cheese in front of him.

Collins lined on in the slot of the right side of the offense. He ran his over route towards the opposite S, Crawford. Generally you don't have a S follow a WR all the way across the field in a zone. Budda saw that Crawford bit on the underneath routes, and did what he could but he was never going to catch a WR like Collins having zero leverage.

Jon Gaines looks like he has been holding his own. It’s early, but I wonder if he’s a keeper.

We need a couple of these oline draftees from the last few years to actually be players. Gaines, Conner, Christian Jones, Adams, Fryar are on the active roster. We have three rookies on the practice squad, Wyatt Bowles, Trey Weydig and Tyler Cooper who we know nothing about. But if Monti is worth a crap evaluating oline talent you would think at LEAST two of these guys would pan out as decent starters.

Adams had a BAD game yesterday. I thought he was the worst out of everybody. But, I admit I am biased at this point as I have reached the conclusion he sucks.

I am. I have a good life. Watching the Cardinals helps me practice gratitude in other areas.

I love football so I watch a lot of it. When the Cardinals aren't good, I just put more split screen on so I can see how it should be played. You can tell in the game thread when I start paying attention in other places.
