This is the worst trade I have ever seen posted regarding the Suns.

morant wants goneGiannis trade rumors are likely to dominate NBA news until he is traded.

more likeI don't think its possible to put together a reasonable trade for Giannis. We don't have picks. Book, Oso, Dunn, Brea? Maybe something like that.
I just don't see it. This team is fun and has chemistry. That kind of trade is another way to fall flat again and deplete the roster again.
Giannis is out with a non-contact injury.

I'm starting to believe that the "star strategy" doesn't really work anywhere, anymore. That Steph/KD team was the last time it really seems to have worked as expected.Yeah, changes need to be made with the Clippers. The star strategy didn't work.
I'm not sure about the contract situation with Ty Lue, but a lot of teams would be happy to have him as their head coach.
the league is trying to design it that way financiallyI'm starting to believe that the "star strategy" doesn't really work anywhere, anymore. That Steph/KD team was the last time it really seems to have worked as expected.
I'm not counting Lebron/AD because their championship was under flukey circumstances and they went south immediately after.
I get that. But I mean even when teams do manage to assemble a lineup of big names in spite of that, the product on the floor never seems to be all that great (as we here know all too well).the league is trying to design it that way financially

Think about the bubble. Less amount of games, so odds of both guys staying healthy was decent, even with covid. Obviously they BOTH couldn't make it work over 82 games.I'm starting to believe that the "star strategy" doesn't really work anywhere, anymore. I agree. The worst I have seen.LOL that is the worst I've ever seen
KAT, Kuzma and someone named Pacome Dadiet for Mark Williams, Dillon Brooks, Jalen Green, Grayson Allen and at least a 2nd rounder I'd guess.
Even then, they have to be fairly young, hungry stars that have a clear pecking order and complement on another.A couple of stars seem to work the best with young emerging talent.

Even OKC is more the team concept than the star strategy. They have really good players but play within a system and they all fill roles.I'm starting to believe that the "star strategy" doesn't really work anywhere, anymore. and there are a lot of effort guys who make huge impacts on games but making the league minimum wage - it's gotta balance out a tad at some point rightEven OKC is more the team concept than the star strategy. They have really good players but play within a system and they all fill roles.
That said, the GM role and coaching will be even more important in the future. The GM needs to understand how players will work together.
Also, glue guys like Dillon Brooks will be very important.

Teams are going to have to be careful about Giannis. Don't get me wrong. I love that dude. I would take him in a heartbeat but he is not a jump shooter. He depends fully on his around the basket game. We have seen what happens to guys that have no outside game when their athleticism and bodies start breaking down. We have seen it first hand here.My prediction is Sengun + Jabari (or Eason) + picks for Giannis.
Clippers continue to demonstrate why they are the Clippers
