In overtime, the Kings beat the Timberwolves at home 117-112.

The Kings are now 5-13.

They're definitely not going to lay down for us. We know how tough that Minnesota team is. We know Williams will be back. Hoping Allen will be too. And I wonder what the Dunn timeline will be like for a sprained wrist?

Need to win this one bad.

We are going to get waxed by OKC and Denver - I don't want to go into those 2 games on a 2 game losing streak.

Yep, after the Kings: OKC, Denver, Lakers, Rockets, Wolves, Warriors, Warriors, Lakers. Eesh!

that is a really tough stretch. if we went 3-5, I'd be pretty happy and I think to even do that, we'll need most of our short-term injured dudes back on the court. that's a murderers row and I'm sure there are brutal back to backs in there I haven't even looked at.

gotta get the Kings game.

Here is the Suns injury report for the Kings.

No Allen, Dunn or Green.

Don't want to lose any games but it would be interesting to see how the guys respond to a losing streak.

So far everything is clicking and everyone gets along great.

Also, am I the only one that feels like Brooks is the leader of this team?

need a win tonight big time - book needs to get back to being book - no more devin defer - everybody is doubling and trapping for a reason all the sudden - barkley is right - superstars are held to a different standard

dtv looks like old school book right now - the midrange turnaround - the and 1s - even the questionable 3s at times lol but dtv doesn't get doubled - regardless book still needs be aggressive like dtv is or the offense bogs down with others trying to make it happen

if he's getting doubled - trapped and forced to his off hand he has to be point book but he also has to be more reggie miller- moving around ducking screens buying time for the catch and release

We all know that Book is not the alpha type leader. He's more of a show you by example type that's not afraid to say something but not try to force his will on you. Brooks on the other hand appears to be more of that type and he will get on you.

I am sort of looking forward to this stretch as a "real" test to see what this team really is. Although, that is tempered somewhat because of Jalen.

Not to mention Allen and Dunn. Who knows when they return?
