One game this week to better our position

Browns 2-8 vs Raiders 2-8
Falcons 3-7 vs Saints 2-8

or we get two more teams as members of the 3 wins club.

Don’t see many upsets this week but I’m pulling for the Bengals.

Looks as though the top five picks are the Titans, Giants, Jets, Saints and Browns.

A better pick than last year for the Cards but not a top five.

What I do know is the Cards have lost the two games since I arrived in the valley of the sun. There are two more games before I depart for home which means two more losses coming. Last year’s trip although shorter delivered 3 loses. It would be prudent for the Cards organization to pay me to stay out of town.

I really hate to say this but I’ll be moving back to the Phoenix area next summer. So don’t expect much for next season:(

How do some of you PA guys feel about Allar?
Well, he has the physical tools of which there is no doubt. 6'-5" 235 lbs. rocket of an arm. The real question is how much did Franklin mess up his head? Franklin talked him out of attending the Payton Manning QB Camp between his sophomore and junior years. That is how big a ******** Franklin is. There have been times where he looked like a sure fire first pick out of the QB class and then other times he looked like a deer caught in headlights.

Having watched all the PSU games over the last three years, he's had games where he was throwing receivers open, going through his progressions, always had his eyes downfield and putting the ball on target. Then there were games and more of these came later in his career, where he looked like he was afraid to make a decision as to where to go with the ball and simply held it too long. Also this year his Oline was a sieve.

It will be very interesting to see how he does at the combines. I think his interviews will also go a long way toward determining his draft position. This will either cement his present status as a 3rd/4th rounder or escalate him back up to a 1st rounder or at worse early 2nd. He has the potential to have a high ceiling as well as a bust.

Nah, there are some bad teams out there. We will win a couple/few more and push us out. Mortgage the farm for a QBotF, or grab a later one, or wait till following year with a new regime. I don't think M/G are gone unless we get blown out rest of the way.

It does show the SOS???

SOS should only apply to playoff positioning. It should be reversed for the draft. Writing an email to Roger Goodell right now!

It doesn’t show SOS, but it is used in their listing of course.

Unfortunately, it makes sense the way it is now. If two teams have the same record, the one with the easier schedule is probably a worse team, so should get a better draft pick.

Jayden Maiava of USC looks good. A smooth and natural arm -- not a cannon but plenty of zip. Accurate.

So does Dante Moore of Oregon. Similar arm -- good enough strength, very accurate

Maiava should be a high pick in 2027. He’s got the tools and Riley is an excellent QB developer.

After three games, #7 is what he is and that is a top 10 QB on a cluster beep OL. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know about Brissett and the merry go round of his career but in the here and now you have your starting QB. Cardinals, do something right, draft the best tackle on the OL early for the next QB in the wings with a better class

OMG it's like these guys read my mind. Bring in Spencer Fano! Skip the top QBs in the draft this year. There are no QBs worth moving up for in the upcoming draft and there won't be a QB worthy of drafting where they currently sit. Now is the time to add another piece to the offense for whoever the QBOTF is in 2027.
But if we improve in 2026 then we won’t be able to get a top qb in the 2027 draft.

If he comes out this year, he is probably top 10

Arm talent / size (if the reported is accurate) he is a better prospect that Simpson or Mendoza

I heard a podcast last night say late 1 early 2….the knock was not enough zip on the out routes to the sidelines….nfl corners will jump those…

monti should trade the 5th pick and go o-line - popular opinion says it takes 3 years for offensive tackles and guards to ripen - maybe less if you draft higher - im not saying we need nothing but first and second rounders - im saying we need 2 pronto on a fast paced trajectory

I agree we take Oline or a top WR in the 1st, we can get Nussmier, allar or klubnick later in the draft and have them sit behind Brissett
I'm ok with OL in round 1 but those 3 QBs are 3rd string/PS material.

He’s rapidly moving up. Right now I say day 2. He has all the physical tools, though he’s slow afoot when scrambling. He’s not afraid to run. He isn’t very good technically yet, so he’d sit year one. Rough mechanics, poor at reading defenses, locks on his target and doesn’t show touch on midrange throws. He does keep his head in the pocket and will take a hit to complete a pass. A few scouts really like him. I think he comes outif the NFL tells him he’s round 2 or better.
