There's a pretty big gap between Ant and Book.

And it's mostly mental. Book overthinks when he's being outplayed by a contemporary. He needs to just play and let the game come to him.

Booker is good for what he is - skilled but pretty ordinary athletically for the NBA. You get someone like Edwards who is both skilled AND athletic, he's going to make Booker look pretty ordinary.
