Can we admit now that it looks like Kyler is shadow benched?

He practiced before the Colts game. Practiced every day before Green Bay. Practiced every day this week. And he's still throwing to backups.

This is not normal.
How amazing is it, that we all root for a team who have single handedly dismantled the theory of occam's razor????

We can speculate, we cannot admit. Though, the club makes it incredibly difficult to understand wtf is going on. You're right. This is not normal.

Nah he'd be throwing a fit if that was the case. He was practicing with the starters M-W, then Thursday/Friday practicing with the backups. That makes me think setback. Foot injuries aren't easy to come back from. Look how long Purdy has been out.

It would be one thing if it was pain tolerance, but this type of injury really messes up accuracy.

If he really had a foot injury he wouldn't have only missed 2 practices 3 weeks ago. He'd be resting it.

Do you not find the games more entertaining since Jacoby has been starting?
I do, but first, there’s only so much lipstick you can put on a pig and Brissett has almost never played as well as he has the last two games and I’ll be surprised if it continues. But my bigger fear is the less Kyler plays, the more it gives Bidwill an excuse to keep this entire mess together next year, trying to sell the narrative that injuries derailed the season. They ain’t eating any money firing coaches/GM/trading Kyler if they don’t feel like they absolutely, 1000% have to, IMO.

guessing no press conferences from murray this week - he's not gonna put a filter on his feelings - pretty sure he wants to play

I think they would like to trade him and let Jacoby mentor A rookie next year. But that's just hope on my part.

I'm not sure they're getting any calls though.

this week is the final brissett test and kyler knows it - one good performance can be cast aside - two good performances and you start paying attention - but 3 pocket filled positive performances complete with the deep ball?

that's when you tell kyler murray the bad news - everything can go back to the way is was right now - gannon has made sure of that- said all the right qb #1 supportive things but i bet he changes his tune if brissett does dallas

Purdy has missed 6 games while practicing limited the entire time with his foot injury, and we know he's not in danger of losing his job. If a player practices in any capacity, its reported as limited instead of DNP.

We don't know the specifics of his injury, but with most injuries that can heal without surgery, you don't just go totally inactive. "Movement is medicine". Limited practices don't make me think "fake injury".

That said, Jacoby gets another start. Kyler missing out on the worst defense in the league is bad news for him.

haha - it's ok big guy - where are you hoping kyler goes after brissett makes the rest of us forget
Couldn’t careless about a player once they are gone from here.

The problem is you’re putting your faith in a guy that hasn’t won a game here and has been mostly terrible his whole career.

Like I said you’re deranged.
