Context… Colts were playing their 3rd and 4th string DBs - pretty sure anyone would be attacking via the passing game in that scenario.
Green Bay’s Defense has been lousy on the road this year for whatever reason reason surrendering over 25 pts per a game (including the Browns 13 point loss to them).
I think context should matter with stats. Why wouldn’t they? Example are we saying the Ravens offense is the same w Rush as it is wi th Lamar. Context matters when throwing out stats.
We threw the ball 44 and 36 times with BBQ, yet really haven’t yielded anymore points on the scoreboard… that is more attempts than every game kyler has thrown in this year except for 1. Context matters.
I certainly agree with a number of assessments on this board especially the fact kyler can’t see the field when the pocket collapses. He f n sucks when there is interior pressure.. which has been the case his entire career because this team never built a formidable interior Oline. He needs that to be able to see at his height. Context matters.

Here's the thing... if Brisset had come out and stunk up the joint yesterday (as I kinda expected), I think you'd have an arguyment. But it's not like Kyler hasn't had chances to shine against similarly bad defenses this year. And he flat out hasn't. The fact that Brisset then went out and played well again, against an even better D that coming into the game was ranked FIFTH IN THE LEAGUE just spits in your argument's face.
Lol -they've been "lousy on the road". This is such a bad argument. They've played twice on the road coming into the game. One game, they gave up a measly 13 points and the other they gave up 40 in a shootout with one of the best offensives in the league. Overall, prior to our game, they had played 5 games and held teams to 18 points or less in 4 of them. Get out of here with that ridiculous argument.
What are you talking about? How have we not really yielded more points on the scoreboard? You want to talk context, while just flatly ignoring COLD HARD FACT. In two games with Brisset, the offense has averaged 25 ppg. In 5 games with Kyler, against one of the easiest schedules in the league, the offense averaged 20 ppg. If you don't think 5 ppg is not "really yielding anymore points on the scoreboard", it's literally impossible to have a conversation with you.

I don’t think it does - Dallas hung 40 on them.. the one offense more putrid than ours Cleveland scored 13 and won. Soo im not seeing any spit in my face here? Small sample a rational person might say.. but spit? Boy, it seems you have some anger issues.
I think if kyler were to throw the ball 36 or 44 times a game as has been drawn up by the guy that calls the plays thus the game plan is different - I’d put a wager there is a strong likelihood kyler would throw for 250+ and have more chances at TDs thus more chances at scoring some points. It’s the only time the offense has moved is when we decided to throw the ball more on a drive rather Special Ps predictable play calling. Our run game has been putrid.

Oh buddy.. if Demarcardo doesn’t drop the ball at the goal line vs the titans, if Demarcado doesn’t drop a routine pass vs SF that any prop player should have caught for a TD, if Marv doesn’t have what 2 TD drops himself… ya I don’t think this offense is more potent under JB. That’s ******* personal not making the catches any pro should make. There’s your point differential there. But blame kyler, and keep spitting.
I still again for the 10th time in the past 2 weeks say it’s time for both Kyler and the Cards to move on. Not a good a fit in so many ways. Kyler my fail elsewhere, but I’d wager he looks better than this in an organization that has a solid interior line and veteran OC looking to capitalize on the handful of things he excels at.

This debate reminds me of the Josh McCown debate. That like this debate is about nothing. This also reminds me about the people who defended Leinert even after Warner outplayed Leinert in preseason. Even the coaching staff wanted Leinert to win maybe because that is who Bidwill wanted. Last February I said the Big Red needed to bring in a veteran or draft a QB in first round and have a competition for the job. Giving things whether it is the job or the players he wanted has done nothing to make Murray better. I heard one of the pod casters I think at PHX Sports griping about Gannon for not bringing in another QB in off season if Gannon didnt think Murray was his QB. That argument ignores the fact that it is Bidwill that calls the shots. I could see Bidwill take the approach of his old man and that if he was paying Murray then Gannon was playing Murray. I expect when Gannon and Ossenfort took the job they were told Murray is their QB. Other than Bidwill's poor reputation that might explain why the search turned up slim pickings. Good luck finding another HQ if you tell them Murray is your QB. Good luck finding a trade partner for Murray. I heard about how much the Big Red would get for Hopkins in a trade. Except for a meaningless late season win a couple years ago they were in position to draft Drake Maye. Then last year they too a soft wide receiver. Reminds me of Dorial Green Beckham who relied on physical ability just like Murray.

Brissett is a journeyman QB that did surprisingly well against the 6-1 Colts and the 4-1-1 Packers.
Some of you Kyler defenders spend every week blaming everyone in the orginization but Kyler for losing.
Hell, Brissett had less weapons to work with because of injuries but was more effectively running the offense than the #1 overall draft pick that makes many more millions. Embarrassing.
Monti and JG have been stuck with Kyler. They inherited him 1 year into a moronic contract. He was locked in to start for at least 3 years.

Because if you leave the pocket due to incoming pressure it's counted as a pressure stat.
