First time GM and 1st time HC. Should any of us be surprised they're struggling?

6 players in the top 100 - not one of them is an above average player at this point. Just because people wanted Marv doesn't make him the right pick - GM's are supposed to be the smart ones, right? D-Rob is a joke. Barely an NFL player. Melton is ok, Elijah is one of the worst picks in recent memory, and Benson is an injury prone 3rd down back.

If you are trying to rebuild through the draft, this is a joke.
Do you really not think Marv is a good receiver? Was he the best choice - to me jury is still out on that.

Nobody is going to put up big stats with 6 targets a game.

Every team in the NFL busts on about half their picks - that is just the way it is - unless you are Keim - then you bust on 90% of them. Have some perspective.

It's not the margins of the losses or how close we are to almost winning. It's the fact that this was the easy part of our schedule and we have lost games that we should have won decisively. We have fallen apart in the fourth quarter in almost every game.
Mehhh I don’t care about decisively just Win that’s all I care about…. Margin of victory matters none to me.

That shows the small difference between winning and losing. We could also be 7 and 0. We lost last week's game because of a stupid mental error by Demercado. We lost this week's game because of stupid mental error by JG.
What error? You surely aren't talking about not punting. If you think 30 more yards of field position stops then from scoring you're nuts. At least we got the ball back and a have a chance to win - good teams take advantage of those situations.

It's a serious question.

You're a weird dude. You absolutely hate the Org, but can't stop praising the worst thing about it.
Of course its a serious question in your mind.

I was saying this is a terrible team for while even when we were winning and hadn't lost yet. From the coaching staff to the FO and down to the talent.

Then you are come up with this gem of a thread as a major cope.

The worst thing about it (your words not mine) drafted K1, reupped with K1, and havent drafted a suitable replacement for him.

So yes I hate the orge because here we are again at 2-5 with you saying we are the best team with that record.

Who said he wasn't a good receiver. You don't draft "good" receivers at #4. Unless he's a Justin Jefferson/JaMarr Chase level talent, (and he hasn't shown anything near that), not a good pick.

He's clearly not the #1 WR in the draft - Nabers is better.

Are you absolving MHJ of all of his responsibility for this?

Have some perspective? You have a GM and organization preach that they were going to build through the draft, and so far, most of Monti's picks have been mediocre at best combined with many picks that have been very bad.

You can't rebuild through the draft if you're not good at drafting.

Also - bag on Keim all you want, but why are most of the best players on the team still Steve Keim picks?

Let's look at that.

Trey McBride
Paris Johnson Jr.
Marvin Harrison Jr
Calais Campbell
Budda Baker
Garrett Williams

These are probably the only drafted guys I would put on my top 10. Maybe. Sweat and Dalvin are in there but they were FA signings. Fro? JThompson? Does Zaven make it?

I've been trying to see the silver lining myself, considering every loss has been excruciatingly close. If we were 5-0, we'd all be saying we were the worst undefeated team in the league. When we were 2-0 it felt like we were 0-2 considering we barely beat 2 really bad teams.

Fro was a FA. Thompson is probably next on the list.

And people are saying this is a stacked roster? Fro, JT and Zaven are the candidates for the 9th best player on the roster? Mack Wilson probably in that convo as well.

Who in the world is saying this is a stacked roster?

“The best 2-5 team”

Holy crap you people have low expectations.

Winning is all that matters in sports and mainly in life as well.
Stop with the “ You People “ crap. You’re every bit a part of “ You people”.

Not if you took the Cardinals and the points. It has worked the last two weeks.

Fro was a FA. Thompson is probably next on the list.
The Patriots select Fro in the 4th round of the 2019 draft when Monti was the Head of College Scouting during his last year with the them before moving to the Titans. So technically Monti was very involved in the process of drafting Fro and it's probably a huge reason why Fro was targeted as a FA by the Cardinals.
