1 – Time to begin keeping up with draft position.

2 – It is a public secret that Michael Bidwill wants to be involved in the football operations. I wonder if he will demand that Petzing goes – simply because a dysfunctional, non-entertaining offense is not in his financial interest.

3 – I think that Marvin Harrison is a fine #3. Now they only need a #1 and #2.

4 – I want to give credit when it is warranted: Darius Robinson showed up.

5 – If Hjalte Froholdt does not affect the Seahawks-player on that fumble after the interception (with the biggest block in the back in NFL history, but still), that guy doesn’t knock the ball out of his own teammates’ hands. Great play.

6 – If Baron Browning was better at finishing, he would be a stud.

7 – At some point during the season Isaiah Adams will get Murray decapitated.

8 – Kei'Trel Clark is shutting up some people, including me. He has played well after being forced into action.

9 – Dalvin Tomlinson is severely underrated.

10 – Jonah Williams is simply a bad player. Point blank period.

No disagreements with 1-10, #3 being a real kick in the junk. 2026 will be all about the offense. Upgrades with OL, two speed WRs are top priorities. I’m sure some question marks will still be there on D as well but they are much closer than the offense right now.. also new OC

As far as #3...not addressing the WR room was gross negligence by this organization.

I missed most of the game live last night, only got to see the "good" part which was the last 4 to 5 minutes.

But, it's obvious after four games that what was supposed to be the strength of the team, the oline and the run game, has been the most dysfunctional part. That stuff floating around today about Seattle knowing our run audibles is inexcusable. That tells me Petzing and the offensive side of the ball got overconfident and a little lazy during the offseason. Instead of working harder and innovating, we were too content to just roll right out with where we stopped at the end of last season. Which, was dumb because it's not like we had a GREAT offense last year.

FB, don't you think quarterback is the absolute top priority? It is not that difficult to get out of Murray's contract after the season, and I think that even a blind guy could see that he will not win them a championship. I mean, he didn't lose the game against the Seahawks, but he also didn't win it for them, and he has visibly regressed the last couple of seasons.

AJ, I think for sure that the loss of Klayton Adams is much bigger than expected. I think that the offensive line overperformed, which they are simply not capable of now.

Heck, the Cowboys are the second best rushing team per attempt now with nobodies like Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders. Last season the Cowboys were the third worst in the same category, and sixth worst in overall rushing yards. Javonte Williams was in Denver and Miles Sanders was in Carolina, and none of them had been even close to their production through three games this season.

A young QB is definitely up there but I really don’t know the intricacies of KMs contract that would give the team the best window to cut him.

If he is cut, the dead money-hit will go from 98 million this year to only 57 next year, and they will actually save more than 2.5 million in actual money. That is absolutely doable, and if they make it a June 1-designation, they can even split that cap hit over several years.

If traded, the dead money-hit in 2026 would only be 18 million.

Salary cap space doesn’t really matter nowadays, but you still cannot cross the limits of the cap. Which is why it is important that the Cards’ salary cap space would go up from 14 million to 50 million in 2026 by trading Murray.

It is certainly possible to get out of the contract after this season, and even moreso if you have a rookie quarterback.

Michael isn’t paying Kyler Murray $38 million not to play football in 2026. That’s not accounting for paid bonus money—it’s guaranteed salary and roster bonus to be paid.

The only way to move off him is to trade him. Maybe you could trade him and a third for a second.

Special teams has either missed points to help lose or enabled points for the other team for the second game in a row.

What part of this team is actually contributing at a high level?

JG so far is a guy that puts a crap product on the field.

KM is worth a 1st, to the right team (Jets). There's got to be a handful of teams that see KM as a product of his environment, and that he can excel with a change of scenery.

I once explained why Murray is worth at least a first-round pick. I cannot remember when, but I think after last season. The gist is that he sells tickets, and that NFL coaches are convinced that they are God's gift to american football and that they are the exact right person to redeem Murray.

absolutely. You can bet the house there are a half dozen GM/HC combos in the league that feel they are the ones capable to unlock kylers consistency

Jets more than likely will be drafting in the top 10, probably even 5. Even the biggest Kyler stans here don’t see him getting traded anywhere near that valuable.

Darius getting a shoutout is a perfect demonstration of how people judge DL players on their sack stats and nothing else. He was still terrible, he just ended up with a clean up sack.

Nah. He’s on a three-year deal, and he’s not elite. If he were that good, why would the Cards be trying to unload him?

Maybe for a team with a pick in the mid 20s, but are they gonna have the cap space to accommodate a $40 cap charge?

Because he is not working out? I think that is obvious, and also why some of us are mentioning that potential buyers could think that they have the right environment and infrastructure to bring out the best of Murray.

Well, if we go with the Jets and the Steelers as the most likely destinations, they have the 5th and 11th most cap space, respectively. The Raiders have the second most and the Colts the 8th, just to add a couple of potential buyers. All four could very easily fit him in under their cap without making much adjusting, and a new team would own him no guaranteed money.

I don't agree, HZ. I did have the same impression, when I watched the game, but then later I watched the coaches' All-22 tape, and that changed my mind. You would obviously like your first-round pick to make a lot of plays, but he did in fact make a difference.
