I got a good feeling about this guy. Jake Spivetal

Currently OC at Baylor, all his experience is on te offensive side of the ball. Mostly Quarterbacks.
He comes from the Kevin Sumlin Dana Holgerson coaching tree.
...dude has history with Kyler though,...not sure if it is good or bad, but he was fired from A&M because Kyler and another QB both portaled out of the school in the same off season. But the familiarity is there anyway.

This dude we got from Ohio State,....needs to go back to college. we aint running a gall damn OJT program around here.

so you dont like my pick??
Bring your own, lets see the choices

It’s midnight and I can’t sleep, so I’m googling how fish sleep. Are we calling for our o-line coach to be fired after 1 game and be replaced by a guy who’s only ever coached QBs?
Im guessing a small school offensive coordinator who only has experience with quarterbacks can do the job at least as well as the guy we currently have.
since we are farming the college ranks for our staff we may as well give someone else a shot at it.

Where I think we miss Klayton Adams is in his role as the run game coordinator. I don't know how much of that role Frye has taken on at this point.
I know its week one....but the difference was night and day all around for the line. They are very obviously not playing as well as last year,....Jonah Williams looks like he needs to go back on IR because he had a much better showing from there.
50 year old Cam Jordan treated Jonah like a fat kid at summer camp and took his lunch all day long

I checked the Cards coaching roster...we currently do not have a run game coordinator. We have a pass game coordinator, offensive quality control, assistant O Line coach...and a Bidwill Fellow,...so maybe between them they manage the run game?? I dunno
damn Klayton Adams and his ambition!!!

One thing to consider is the same people who selected Klayton Adams, selected Justin Frye. We will see.

I think Frye may have had more talent at OSU. Froholdt’s performance was not a shock. He was not a good drive blocker last season, he’s slow plugging gaps and he misses stunts. He’s usually above average when pulling but not in this game. Adams kept looking back at Murray. Hearing problem, calling defenses, no clue why. He was also very slow plugging gaps and looked weak run blocking. Brown looked old & slow; constantly grabbing. Williams was on his heels the entire game. He gave ground to hold angle. Maybe the injuries have taken their toll. Johnson looked decent. They need Hernandez badly. I’m not certain you can coach quicker response. Major concern!
