Why is the percentage of passes completed to MHJ still so low?
My fear is because most of those passes are downfield, where Kyler has just lost the string ever since the 7-0 start in 2021.

The 82% going to McBride is totally skewed by the fact that so many of those routes are underneath routes where McBride can turn short plays into chunk yards with his RAC.

My experience when I’m confident is just playing more free,” he told Arizona Sports’ Wolf & Luke in June. “When I play more free, my hair’s on fire more and I lay into people more, more pancakes. That’s the goal as I continue to get more confident and play more free."

Apparently Gannon has said play time distribution will be similar to Denver. If that's the case im not watching another single drive by tune. Feel bad for the fans who have paid money to watch that same Denver product walk on to the field- embarrassing

Nah. PS game 3 is the one you give your tickets away to cousins and interns. Michael will be thrilled the Raiders are in town to draw some bodies.

That is probably the biggest question of the season.

Several choices:
- Kyler not capable of throwing downfield
- MHJ was not ready to be a focal point in the NFL as a rookie
- no chemistry on the timing passes like back shoulder fades
- MHJ not put in situation to maximize his skillset in the formation

I do not think it’s on Kyler’s abilities. I think it’s mostly a scheme and MHJ not being fully ready for the NFL

Lots of reasons. McBride is just difficult to cover, LB's and Safeties can't really cover him. MHJ is still on the way up in the NFL and as we saw repeatedly last year he goes against the best CB's and they frankly didn't have a ton of problems covering him. He'll be better this year and hopefully so will Kyler.

Will say again we need someone to take the top off deep to really open this offense up. Really hoping someone cuts a guy who can really fly but seems unlikely.

I guess we have to hope Jones or Weaver fills that role.
