I think it’s eight movies? Interstellar, the Batman series, Oppenheimer, Inception, etc.
I’ve never seen interstellar, so I’m going to go see that on the 20th.

Tenet and Dunkirk are the other two films.
I think Interstellar has to be seen on a big screen. First time I saw it was on a 65" tv and thought it was mid. Watching it in my theater now and I'm blown away by it. Really it needs a huge screen and sound system. There's some great audio in it.Interstellar is amazing in the theater. Your mind will be blown.
It pretty much was universally praised. It got great reviews, Oscar noms for Best Picture/Director, and for a period war film with nothing but no names save Tom Hardy who basically showed no face the entire movie, not to mention a war movie without any American involvement, a 190 million domestic haul means it also got enough praise from theaters goers to put butts in the seats during a very competitive summer. And it made 540 million overall..
Surprised Dunkirk wasn’t universally praised when it came out. Amazing theatre experience.

I run a 60...with my La-Z-Boy reclined my eyes are 8 feet from the screen.I have a 71" now but it doesn't much different to the 65" I had before. What size screen do you have? I understand audio plays a big role but you mentioned screen size and I thini 60" is good for most living room setups.
I have an 86" and my eyes are about 9 to 10 feet from the screen. Id go even bigger if I had the room lolI have a 71" now but it doesn't much different to the 65" I had before. Lights off and I can't see anything else...I'm good with the visuals...but I don't have a sound system so audio...it's decent...but lacking in comparison to a home theater setup.
But if we are being honest my hearing isn't good enough to pick up most nuance anyway.
Even with what I have I catch myself occasionally looking out the windows because I'm hearing things outside. Can't imagine how freaked I would get with full surround sound, lol

My TV is 4K. I’m happy with it. Not a big fan of projectors I have yet to see one where the picture is acceptable to me.Closed captioning is your friend. My dad used to utilize that all the time so I became accustomed to it at an early age. Now I struggle to watch TV without it.
I'm about 7 feet from mine and felt that way before I went from 65" HD 1080 to 71" 4k. The upgrade in quality makes it a bit more tolerable. I need a sound system upgrade though. I think my wallet is more of a hindrance now instead of space. I've considered going the projection route because then I can make the whole wall my TV.
It's odd though because when I game on my TV it almost feels too big but tv and movies can feel too small a lot of times.
I have a 130" that's about 9' away. I'm at IMAX viewing angles. Plus a really good 7.2.6 sound system. I'm a home theater nerd and build a lot of my stuff. Sounds like you haven't seen a decent one. Next time you're in town I'll have you stop by. I have mine dialed in now and it's looking amazing. My TV is 4K. I’m happy with it. Not a big fan of projectors I have yet to see one where the picture is acceptable to me.

I wish I could do total surround theater style. But now that I downsized to a condo Prob wouldn't be considerate. I do have a Bose sound bar that is very good. Still prob to loud for neighbors but they have yet to complain.I have a 130" that's about 9' away. I'm at IMAX viewing angles. Plus a really good 7.2.6 sound system.
