I understand Marcus Smart will sign with the Lakers, while Chris Paul is rumored to be going to the Clippers.

All the major RFAs left (Giddey, Kuminga, Thomas, to a lesser extent, Grimes) are in a tough spot. There's not much cap space left for them out there so they're at the mercy of their own teams.

They also are each hugely flawed in different ways.

I wouldn’t want to commit to any of them with big resources.

TyTy Washington Jr. agrees to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Clippers. I liked his game.

IMO, he has a chance to be a rotation point guard.

This is how teams play RFA. I would take Giddey if the price was right. There is a little of Luka light in him. At least flashes.

Report the Suns turned down a trade offer of an unprotected 2026 1st round pick and the 23rd pick from the Pelicans for the 10th pick in the 2025 draft.

The Pelicans selected FC Asa Newell at #23. He was traded to the Hawks.

FC Danny wolf was selected at #27. He was highly thought of by some, especially because of his ball handling skills.

I'd rather take the shot at Maluach at 10. Now had it been two unprotected picks from bottom feeder teams, that may have been enticing.

Watched Luka playing Poland in Europe. He looked good and dropped weight. He still plays little defense but will be very good this year. Hope Ayton pulls some BS with him
