Is this when his ego comes down to earth? I was listening to an interview just a few weeks ago that said his team is expecting a max contract on his next contract because he was a max contract player.Dominayton gets bought out.I hope he goes to the Lakers!

Damn is he really that good? He was not even getting much playing time in the playoffs.Jabari Smith to sign a 5-year, $122 million contract extension.

It didn’t need to be said.If it needs to be said, the Suns are not interested in Deandre Ayton per a Gerald Bourquet source.

Not sure what flexibility they have, but right now they can't because they are over the apron.Ayton and Luka have the same agent and they’re friends. Would not surprise me one bit if Ayton goes to the Lakers
Apparently this only applies to in season signings, so Lakers are probably a good bet.Not sure what flexibility they have, but right now they can't because they are over the apron.

I don’t think Ayton would want to return either, if that needs to be said
Is Sexton that much of a negative?

Yeah, that was something. I really believed... for a short while, anyway. The Suns are set at center, but I will always remember Jae Crowder and Deandre Ayton for this play.
Ayton could have been all of this and more.

I'm guessing he would still have to take a minimum deal if he goes there, right? Is he going to swallow his pride that much?Apparently this only applies to in season signings, so Lakers are probably a good bet.

The max he can get is the amount he gave up in the buyout. He can't double dip and make more. Usually the agent gets permission to shop around for a contract and the buyout is based on that figure. I wouldn't be surprised if he already has a landing spot.I think Ayton will want the MLE because of the buyout, but who knows.
