Dominayton gets bought out.I hope he goes to the Lakers!

Yeah. I am sure he will finally get motivated in LA. No distractions there at all.

Is this when his ego comes down to earth? I was listening to an interview just a few weeks ago that said his team is expecting a max contract on his next contract because he was a max contract player.

Portland desperately tried to trade him first but they found no takers. Doesn't sound like a Max player to me.

If it needs to be said, the Suns are not interested in Deandre Ayton per a Gerald Bourquet source.

Damn is he really that good? He was not even getting much playing time in the playoffs.

Did you guys watch the videos on yang the center they just drafted? To say he looks impressive is an understatement.

I’m not so sure we drafted the right one.

Ayton and Luka have the same agent and they’re friends. Would not surprise me one bit if Ayton goes to the Lakers

Not sure what flexibility they have, but right now they can't because they are over the apron.

Apparently this only applies to in season signings, so Lakers are probably a good bet.

I don’t think Ayton would want to return either, if that needs to be said

The Suns are set at center, but I will always remember Jae Crowder and Deandre Ayton for this play.

Ayton could have been all of this and more.

Yeah, that was something. I really believed... for a short while, anyway.

I'm guessing he would still have to take a minimum deal if he goes there, right? Is he going to swallow his pride that much?

I think Ayton will want the MLE because of the buyout, but who knows.

Ayton won't sign anywhere quick unless he's offered big money. He won't be offered big money from anyone so he's going to have to settle. Will be an entertaining side story to follow.

The max he can get is the amount he gave up in the buyout. He can't double dip and make more. Usually the agent gets permission to shop around for a contract and the buyout is based on that figure. I wouldn't be surprised if he already has a landing spot.
