IF there was an affair (are either married?) it is likely dumb from a corporate perspective. But if it was consenting that doesn’t make him a creep. Just makes him a bad decisionmaker. So here is how it could work.

With the approval of the NBA, the Suns ownership sells the franchise to an approved Las Vegas ownership group.

In the process, current Suns ownership probably make a couple billion dollars in profit. Everyone should be happy. If desired, the Suns could negotiate to keep the name.

Afterward, Phoenix takes Las Vegas' place in line waiting for an NBA franchise.
