I thought I'd have us going 10-7, but honestly, I had to work to get to 9-8. That back end of the schedule is simply brutal. If things go well, I could see us winning another game or two. I could also, if things go bad for Kyler, see us as worse than 9-8. Pretty much, the entire season rests on Kyler, for me, as the early schedule will give this D time to gel.

i actually back loaded our divisional wins to our second games - i think we're going to get better as the season goes for once - partly because of our new found defense but mostly because kyler murray knows the knock on him - sputtering out when it counts

if kyler doesn't disprove guys like me and you he knows what monti has to do - no more giant paydays in az we wish you the best - idk why but i think we see the good kyler at the end of the year

There's 21 other players on the field besides K1 Stout! Some of the season should rest on them too!

Sure. But, we all know, especially down the stretch, as the QB goes, so goes the team. I'm waiting for proof, after many years, that Kyler can do it.

When T-shirt models and Amazon drivers are playing all along the OL and DL, it is Kyler’s fault for
yeah...for 50mil a year a brother should be able to carry the team through that for a few games.

its a damn shame when your high dollar star quarterback comes back from injury and cannot produce better results than the minimum wage rocket scientist who filled his spot while he was out.

If we don’t win more than 9 games, then that tells me it would be more than just a typical Kyler 2nd half fadeaway considering we just won 8 games with much worse personnel.

I’m going to make this clear.

You guys cannot sit here & celebrate & say we massively upgraded personnel on defense, not losing much on offense, and still have us win 8 or 9 games even WITH another Kyler 2nd half collapse. The blame will go more than just Kyler.

It’s not so much about Kyler vs Burrow, it’s about liking our defensive line(if they play up to their potential) against Cincinnati’s putrid offensive line. I also like the potential of our secondary to challenge Ja’Marr & Tee better than most. You guys are just looking at Joe & the WR duo while ignoring the mostly mediocre players everywhere else. Games like that should be games where our defense should hound & potentially even take over. We haven’t had that in a long time.
Give me about 8 weeks into the season to have confidence that our defense will be able to do that in the game. They are going to have to prove they are at that level.

Outside of health, the win range should be between 9 and 11 if the offense is a little better and the defense takes a big step up on yards and a small improvement for points.
Yeah, with the same caveat I see 10-12 wins.
Tampa is a tough game but Baker has never beaten Kyler in the NFL...that college rivalry plays in our favor.
also, Kyler has never lost in Dallas, he plays pretty well there...that also plays in our favor.
My gut says we beat Green Bay at home.
I think it all comes down to the division...kinda expecting to sweep the Niners and split with the Lambs and Hags,,,but seattle destroyed our interior line last year..backups,...but still we need an answer for that...the rams are the wildcard for us..we can beat them...but if Davante Adams is still Davante Adams...maybe we cant.
But you never know,...a well timed injury around week 14 and we could sweep the rams

Hate to put so much stock in one player, but if Kyler stays healthy and plays well, Cardinals can win 11 or 12 games. This is recognizing that the defense should be vastly improved over last year and the fact that the schedule is not as tough. Offense held its own last year and I expect that unit to play equally as well this season. An 11-6 record should be the expectation this season. I’m really excited to see the defense on the field, given the free agent signings and the drafted players. That unit should be exceptional.
I agree. Unfortunately I just don’t think I’ve got the confidence in kyler to both stay healthy and play well.

While you’re right the three best players in the game will be bengals (chase, joe and the DE).

The gamut of outcomes here is wild.

7 wins or less and Kyler and Gannon are gone

8 wins and Kyler and maybe Gannon are out.

12 wins + and Kyler has a chance to win MVP and Gannon coach of the year. Probably extensions...

9-11 is going to be stay the course.
