Not at all athletic, so major improvement is unlikely. He probably won’t be much good at pulling which is Cards scheme. His top is a backup as he’s ferocious in pass protection. Therefore he can be pressed into service if needed. He’s a hard worker. Lack of athleticism hurts his ability to really help with run blocking. Often misses target or fails to hit them squarely.

He has a 7.5 RAS. That's well above average athleticism.

Impressive young man. Worth a watch.

One of the things I like about the draft is learning about some impressive young people.

Watch the video above and you will come away impressed and rooting for the guy.

When I see “lack of athleticism” at an o-line position I think he ultimately needs an nfl caliber training program.

Sounds like a guy who can swing anywhere on the interior line. Down to give the kid a try

im more than cool with how the first 3 rounds shook out - i don't grade day 3s because im not that deep on college

we do still need a guard however - monti tried to upgrade in free agency then went bpa in the first 3 rounds

I liked this pick. You get someone who has all of those starts playing big time college ball. In the SEC which is basically semipro. I like him a lot more than I liked Adams. He can be the starter if Brown goes down.
