Still trying to comprehend this team with legitimate 3pt shooters. Most of the Denver series we had two guys on the court that the Nuggets didn’t have to account for. Book was able to produce despite a lot of defensive attention but KD isn’t that guy anymore. With improved spacing and coaching I believe KD will be improved offensively from his playoff numbers. He was kind of a rich man’s Ayton that series where the boxscore numbers didn’t match the eye test. KD aging well is obviously huge for extending our window.

Yeah. I've watched his whole career. That is literally the worst I have seen him play. So either it's a CP3 thing, and he's going downhill, or on the bright side, that's the worst we ever see him play for us. I feel like it's the later. His shot was flat, and maybe the leg issues were still bothering him.

The 2024 swap may indeed mean nothing if we are automatically moved to the end of the first round regardless if we are over the 2nd apron.

that is a bit of a loophole I suppose.

They brought that up about the 2030 pick, too! That's assuming we keep getting or developing top talent.

Brendon Kleen! The guy has a podcast on YouTube I watch every day. He also writes for Suns.com.

What podcast don't you listen to? lol

It's kind of funny to know you as a more casual fan for years and see this sort of investment into the team and NBA as of late. Glad you can enjoy the Suns and NBA so much.

He didn’t have his conditioning(legs) back. He will be dominant again, book it:)

Shams says we’re getting Bol.

I like rolling the dice on some younger guys but I think Bol is a lost cause. Still a good get as an end of the bench gamble.

Teams have started to add two-way players but the Suns technically have none, although there is a qualifying roster on the table for Saban Lee.

Phoenix Suns

  1. Empty
    • Note: The Suns have a two-way qualifying offer on the table for Saben Lee.
  2. Empty
  3. Empty

Don't expect those to be filled until summer league finishes. That's when we'll fill 1, maybe 2. Probably keep the 3 open for camp and part of the season.

Yardbarker grades our moves at A-

"Of course, no one's guaranteed a title. And these moves signify the Suns are firmly in a 'title or bust' window. If they flame out and those four max deals are still on the books next summer, it'll be easy to question the strategy again.

"But right now, few short-term situations in the league look more promising.

"Grade: A-"

Think the Suns are one of the teams checking out Walls workout? Would you take a shot on him for vet min?

Can't hurt. He's more in line with what I expected this summer as far as free agency acquisitions. If he's willing and able to accept a backup role then he could provide 15-20 minutes of decent PG play off the bench and could help set up some of our shooters on the second unit.

How was Wall and Beal's relationship?

Do we flip Cam Payne for assets and sign Wall?
