Game came down to Ayton being ultra charmin soft on the boards and Monty refusing to get KD involved in the last 5-6 minutes.

I thought KD was too unselfish. He needs to demand the ball. A couple of possessions in the last 3 minutes he just drifted to the corner and stayed there.

Monty served his purpose of helping turn the suns around. But he's peaked. He's a terrible in game coach. Gets out coached constantly and it's time to move on

This was mostly on Monty. Ty Lue made Monty look like a complete fool.

I take full responsibility for for screwing Booker's offense in that Final quarter. And now to add insult to injury the first thing I have to see after that disappointing ending is giant bubbles on some dudes head on a pimple popping commercial.

I felt a lot better about the Phoenix Suns bench after the last two Games even though they were losses, but that Game one was just a slap of reality.

Yeah, your calling out cheese ends up looking pretty bad when exactly what cheese predicted unfortunately unfolded.

Paul has been doing this all year. His stat line is super misleading. He’s unplayable in the clutch and it showed up again. He was his awful in the 4th with some really bonehead plays. His clutch stats have fallen off a cliff

He gets great looks and just doesn't make them anymore.

He completely used different rotations all the way around. In game 1…..after telling everyone he was working on solidifying those rotations the past several weeks of the regular season.
Then does something completely different in the first game of round 1?!?!?

KD almost had a triple double. But Yupp, only 15 shots. That’s unacceptable. Kawhi had 24 attempts. We didn’t make good decisions with the ball down the stretch. The more this series is played in the half court, the more this favors the Clippers. We need to get stops so we can get out and run.

With no timeouts Book has to shoot a 3 there. KD also didn’t fight that hard on the first out of bounds play. Just odd all around.

Ty Lue said during one one of the timeouts he tried to screw with the Suns. It worked. Monty had multiple really weird lineups in the game. He didn’t use rotations he has been using for both the starters and the bench he has been using for weeks leading up to the playoffs.

Our bench has been short handed for sure but Monty was playing checkers while Lue was playing chess.

The Clippers bench scored 30 points. The Suns bench scored 10.

I said early in the game, the starters had to win the game. It's the simple truth.

You can’t change the lineup in game 1 of the playoffs and expect your team to feel comfortable in the starting rotation and not know that it will impact what happens on the bench as well.

That’s the simple truth. Name another team in the playoffs that has done that?
