I'd like to get your thoughts on this, Stout.
It just keeps going and going. The reason it sucked so bad after season 1 was because it was a 1-season show. The showrunner had no plans to make more. Then they threw a bunch of money at the showrunner and suddenly they had new plans.

S2 had some moments. I remember being excited about the cast but it didn’t ultimately work. S1 was pantheon stuff.

IMO...season one...it was good because it was well written.
But it was great because it was well performed by a couple guys who had fantastic on screen chemistry.
That chemistry was the biggest loss I noticed in subsequent seasons...the stars were just...bleh,....okay

100%. I don’t think you can have better chemistry than mcconaughey and harrelson. And rust was one of the most interesting characters ever.
