It seems like an easy decision for the Eagles considering this..."Sills appeared in only four snaps on special teams for the Eagles in Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals. He’s listed as a backup right guard to Isaac Seumalo on Philadelphia’s depth chart."

Had he been a starter or key contributor I could see them going a different route.

WTF? Before the super bowl?

Incident happened in 2019, when he was in college. This will be nothing but a minor distraction, since he's a backup who played a total of 5 ST snaps all season.

Unfortunate and awful, but won't impact the Eagles on the field.
