Give me a break. Character assassination? Ha !! Everyone has known Kyler was a "different cat" from day one. Introverted, shy, not a great public speaker, keeps to himself, whatever you want to call it... "Uh, uh. yeah, uh." The first thing he needed coming into the league was some kind of personal coach, a PR guy schooling him on how to hold himself, how to act, how to lead. Possibly a former QB in the league. Someone who has been there, done that. Want to blame the organization - fine, but there is plenty of blame on Kyler himself. Comes off as not bothered by losing and appears more interested in his video game clan and Twitch. Disconnected from the rest of the team, fans, the community, etc. rather than embracing his position and being a leader - on the team and in the community. I realize he is only 24, but he should have been grooming himself for this time in his life since high school or even peewee football (no pun intended). At some point, you need to stop rolling the dice to see what happens. You have to know your role and take it by the reins. I hope we see big changes in the offseason and carrying into this coming season - with Kyler and within Kyler. As a Cards fan, I have my doubts (just like when we drafted him) but I want us to be successful so I hope he proves he can be the QB we can rely on. I hope he can become a leader and have sustainable success for us. We'll see...
