Yeah definitely Lindley accuracy was the worst i have ever seen
I hope he can succeed as a coach
I read now Lindley is a defensive assistant at Mississippi state after being a qb coach

Truth, I mean the guy could hardly even throw the ball accurate enough for a pick. I have seen guys like Stan Gelbaugh, Max Hall stink but you at least thought there was a possibly they could complete a pass... Streveler was aces compared to him

Yeah he gave me the feeling the play was over even before the ball was snapped
It was the first time i experienced that as a football fan
Frustrating

Assuming we’re talking Arizona, the desperation reach for Jeff Blake was right up (down) there. He went 3-10 as the starter and ended Buddy Ryan’s tenure. He threw 15 interceptions against 13 TDs. He was really bad!

dude was the bomb on SEGA though... Bengals was it?? Could throw 70 yards in the air every play and hit his WR in stride....

alas,...life doth not often imitate art.....

he never played for buddy. He played for Coach Mac about 10 years later in 2003.

The Lindley thing was a big issue with BA for me. When Palmer and Stanton went down there were guys like Josh Freeman and David Garrard available and BA rode with Lindley for some inconceivable reason. Like that idiot punter Drew Butler after that. It was so dumb.

Lindley/Hall are neck and neck ( or maybe neck and waste in Hall’s case) in my book.

Blake was 10x the QB that Max Hall and Lindley were.
This. The Cardinals coaching staff can make anyone look horrible. I remember he had some decent years in Cincy in the mid to late 90's. I think I may have had him on my fantasy team throwing bombs to Carl "slim" Pickens.

Some many to choose from, haha.

The old timers will remember Tom Tupa's name. Those two games for the "Phoenix" Cardinals back in 1989 were.... interesting. :)

Did Strevler start a game in the 2020 season? I'd put him near the top of the list too.

Yes, Blake was awful. He also had a penchant for pick 6's. But, he did throw 13 TD's. it would take Lindley 2, and maybe 3 seasons to get to 13. I have to go back to the 1966 season to find my worst QB. Cardinals under Charley Johnson started the season 7-1-1. They were definitely a championship caliber team & Johnson was a very good QB. Unfortunately, Johnson broke his leg late in the 9th game against the NYG. TERRY NOFSINGER was our backup. He lost 4 of 5, with his only win being a 6-3 win over a very pathetic Pittsburgh Steelers team. In those 5 games, he completed 42% of his passes, had 2 tds, and was intercepted 8 times. We scored 52 points in those 5 games. And he had a ton of offensive talent around him:
WR Sonny Randle
WR Bobby Joe Conrad
OL - Bob Reynolds, Irv Goode, Bob DeMarco, Ken Gray, Ernie McMillian
TE Jackie Smith
RB Johnny Roland
K Jim Bakken

That OL was the best in the NFL, with multiple All Pros. If Murray had that talent around him, we would go undefeated.

Max Hall and I don't think it is close.

Although Streveler is an honorable mention.
