What is with this Koolaider vs Darksider mess?

It goes back to at least 2002 when I joined. The Dave McGinnis years provided plenty of fodder for the darksiders, and they took full advantage. I think that's when they really found their voice.. haha.

For the record, I don't believe I'm a "Koolaider". I am hopeful though.

I think most franchises who find themselves cursed by consistent sustained losing would have a fan base full of anxious nut cases like me. But I get the point. It's fun to know that this community is full of people like me and people not like me. It sort of brings me to a more calm state.

Is it OK to call somebody a sap sucker?

Now there's a phrase I haven't heard in ages. Actually the phrase I am familiar with is Yellow Bellied Sap Sucker. As I recall it was used to call someone a coward or afraid to do something or to stand up and fight. The old youthful days.

What about "jive turkey" that was used in the 70's during the disco era. I don't even know what that means but it was supposed to be an insult. It sounded dumb back then when I was a kid & still does lol. Yellow bellied sap sucker I did think was funny but again, I was a kid when it was used & never knew what it meant.

I used to be a perennial koolaider until Kliff came along. As of right now, I'm more in the middle than I have been the past three years, but the way we're closing things out right now isn't inspiring confidence.
