Kyler had just a 32 QBR, even slightly worse than Trey Lance.

All that tells me is that QBR can't be used as an accurate barometer for performance.

Yes, Kyler wasn't brilliant but he was far better than Lance.

I’d like hurst but don’t know why falcons would trade him. I know they’ve got pitts but two good TEs can be something special.

Watching that play to Hopkins and I have no idea why Kyler threw that ball. It worked out, but a far more risky play.

The entire left side of the field is wide open for him to run. I hope he didnt want to run (unless its called) cause his arm was really bothering him. He passed on sure fire 1st down runs the 2nd half of last season.

Did anyone else notice on a punt of ours in the 4th, where it went into the endzone. Isabella didn't locate the ball and ran straight into a blocker around the 10 yard line. I don't think he could have stopped it going for a touch back but it was such poor awareness it made me so mad.

PS I know I am probably overreacting.

one observation on Lance's passing:

so, so many passes were to guys who were covered tightly and somehow got through -- was is accuracy, or was it good fortune? i can count at least three of them: a 4th down conversion to Sanu, a pass to Aiyuk that converted a 2nd and 20 or so, and one to Deebo.

i just was convinced that an INT was one more pass attempt away
