There are several arena's that players will not be able to play in due to city and state mandates. This should be interesting. I think this differs from the NFL because they play indoors. I also read that some NHL teams are telling players that are unvaxxed to stay home or report to minor league camps instead.

If his team had to practice today, Brooklyn Nets general manager Sean Marks said some players would be unable to participate because of New York City's vaccine mandate.

"Regarding if they could play today, I can't comment on who could play and so forth," Marks said Tuesday in the team's preseason news conference. "There would obviously be a couple people missing from that picture.

That means 45 plays are not vaccinated, if you base it on 15 roster spots with 30 teams at 450 total players.

Some of remaining 10% could be partially vaccinated as the tweet says 90% of NBA players are "fully vaccinated."

There are some holdouts for sure who refuse to get vaccinated.

It will be interesting to see how the NBA handles it in cities where there is a mandate. I've heard a religious exemption might be an option for some.

There have been suspicions of vaccines in black communities especially in certain cities. In NYC for instance nearly 80% of blacks aged 18-45 remain unvaccinated in spite of the strictest municipal vaccine requirements in the country. BLM has opposed DeBlasios requirements calling them racist because they in ordinarily penalize people of color.

Actually. I am surprised 90% of players are vaccinated. This will impact the season.

It is interesting that of the vocal ones of 10% who aren't vaxxed in the NBA, it's all $200 million and up guys and says they are only worried only about themselves. While the other big time players who got it, says they got it to protect their families. So this feel appropriate!
