Another 3x5 update.

So...the Suns are setting themselves up to be forced to give Stix, who can't cut it in the G League, major minutes in an NBA championship run.

Ouch.

Why do you do this?

It's easy to dislike the Lakers because they attract all this talent.

Its such an odd hodgepodge of talent though that it would take a Phil Jackson type coach to make it work. Their coach is not the Zen Master.

They still only have one basketball also.

About the only remaining free agents that interest me even a little are Oladipo and Whiteside.
Id take Whiteside. Dude would bring much needed toughness, rebounds and blocking. The problem is keeping him motivated that's the key.

I guess Monk replaces KCP.

There's also a Suns specific free agent thread now that that was posted in. I mention it because you haven't posted there. Just a heads up.

Where am I wrong here? The only power forwards listed on that 3x5 are Crowder and Stix. Is Crowder going to play 48 minutes a game?
The Suns are not done. How about reserving judgment when they are instead of going into full meltdown mode like you lost your meds?

Fine. Who is left out there who can fill the Suns' three remaining holes?

Everybody on the roster is likely ahead of Smith but somehow this equates to "major minutes". If that's not trolling I don't know what the heck it is?

Right now, he is listed as the primary back-up power forward on that 3x5 card, and there are no free agent power forwards left to sign.

Well, the Lakers have certainly addressed their shooting.

We don't have three remaining holes. We have a complete rotation and will fill in the rest of the 15 man roster soon. We've had holes before, they are easy to spot. You are going on and on about players that will likely only see the court due to injuries or during garbage time.

Next time he's brought up he'll be starting. In 2 days I'm sure he'll be talking about committing max money to an extension.

I love that 3RD POINT GUARD is a hole. Most teams aren’t even legit two deep at PG, but crapping your pants over lack of a THIRD POINT GUARD is beyond pathetic.

go change your diaper because what you’re posting freaking stinks.

Once again, what significant power forward could the Suns have signed that didn’t take a hometown discount/go to a very specific team/or just cost too much?

Unless the Westbrook addition causes them to implode or Davis gets hurt again, I don't see how we compete with them.

Crowder is the starting 4, Johnson is the backup 4. And remember, there is a good reason that coaches such as Hubie Brown have often said that "NBA position labels are for fans that don't understand the game".
