Suns win without Booker for 2 quarters and Ayton for 1 quarter. That's the sign of a contender.

Paul barely played the 4th, too.

Dario giving me 2007 Diaw v Dallas vibes.

Ayton's quote at the end when Shaq asked him if he can do more.

I want to do more but "the team I'm on, I'm doing what I can."

Seemed a little like he was content with what he was outputting for this team.

I took the comment as, “we got Book and CP running train on the league, I’m good, lying in wait...”

think you mean 2006 vibes. That was the playoffs where Amare was out and Dias brutalized the Mavs on the road in Game 1 of the WCF including the game winner with less than a second left on a pretty turnaround pump fake jumper. But yeah. Dario’s got sneaky good game.

man, Diaw had so much talent. That guy could have been a superstar if he had the killer instinct. As is, he was a fantastic role player.

No, just watched it again. 39 called the first one then ref number 64 called the second and the ejection after Booker passed the ball hard to the ref on the left of the first and second pics I took below.

Ref 64 is doing the tossing as you see ref 39 coming back from the scores table announcing the first T he gave Booker. So it wasnt the same ref. 39 with the first T and 64 with the second T and ejection.
This evidence seems to fly in the face of the renegade ref with the personal vendetta against book.

Some comments about the Booker ejection.

I was rough on Monty for keeping Ayton in against Harden. I’ve been rough on him at other times, like the Detroit game and a couple others. Just a master class of coaching tonight in difficult circumstances. Getting buy-in from 10th man type guys like Nader is incredible.

i really thought we were winning the title when we took Game 1 in Dallas the way we did.

hell, I still thought we were winning the title in Game 5 in Dallas when the series was tied 2-2 and TT was red hot, putting us up 9 in the third. Just felt like the Mavs were ready to wilt... and then Dirk went completely nuts against us and carried them to a W.

A lot of players do a lot of jawing every game though.
And the ones that have earned a bad rep with the officials are more likely to get tossed, like draymond green. Let’s not forget, book has already been tossed in a previous game this season.

I think Ayton needs to leave his chain at home. This has gone too far now

At least Booker getting tossed isn't an automatic L for the Suns anymore. It wasn't even Paul that stepped up to save the day either, it was the bench mob.

So it’s pretty much exactly what I said. He mouthed off with an expletive after the first technical.
He never should’ve gotten the first technical. If continuous complaining was a reason for a technical LeBron James would never make it out of the first quarter of any game

The refs are crooked they always have been

Lebron will sit versus the Kings. I'm glad it didn't happen against the Suns.
