This is laughable.

He is the 8th highest paid OT in football so it isn't like you are paying him as one of the best.

He is paid in the same realm as Dion Dawkins, Jack Conklin, Donovan Smith, and Russell Okung. Guys who he is as talented as.

The only guys who he gets paid more than are guys who signed huge deals 3 years ago, guys still on their rookie deals, and guys who are 33+.

He gave up zero sacks and multiple pressures to one of the three best defensive ends in football with no preseason games work on his sets vs live competition. 64 guys were credited with at least half a sack week 1 in the NFL...but Nick Bosa wasn't one of them. He wasn't great...that is fair. But he was league average and that is what we need him to be for this team to be successful.

The Captain isn't grossly overpaid. The Captain isn't terrible. The Captain is exactly what we need him to be.

We need a left tackle that can get blown by inside without touching the guy without making any adjustments? How many times does Hump need to get beat the same way before he learns? His body position on all 2 is trash and he left huge inside lanes.

It wasn't Bosa, most DE's would have blown past him the same way.

Fortunately Hump has 15+ weeks to show us that week 1 was one of his worst of the year.

Anybody remember Humps performance during our 2nd game vs 49ers last year? He handled Bosa well and I believe graded out as one of our best performers that game.

He was worth the money.

Forgot Del Rio used to coach against Vick in Carolina. They are going to make sure their DE's dont get 5 yards up like the 49ers DE's did.

Kyler's gotta make quick decisions, be patient and accurate.

We need a guy who can hold top pass rushers like Bosa to 1 or fewer sacks without help and who can stay of the field. Did he give up pressures...he sure did. Did he look rusty...he sure did. Did his play hinder our offense...nope he sure didn't.

The Captain is a league average LT. That is what we needed with Kyler at QB.

You're kidding right? He got Kyler hit twice in these clips alone. Once in the knees. That's how you lose your QB.

lets let him play more than one game before we pick up d'anthony batiste up off the street and plug him in at LT.

I'm not saying we should bin the guy. He's got huge G's.

I'm just saying so far, so Hump.

It's not like this is new. It's who he has always been. Who he was last year.

Its possible Bosa will be up for DPOY and Kyler just proved to be too quick for him. Both could be true.

I think his brother is better. He isn't even the best Bosa! :)

Week 1 sacks, Joey 1, Nick 0

Lamont Gaillard, the center who the Cardinals drafted in the 6th round last season, was refreshingly honest about not playing as a rookie last season afer playing every game his lat two seasons at Georgia. He said it was “annoying” not to play.

I like my chances, if Kyler has to stay in the pocket. I think he can pick them apart, with time. If the DE's are playing contain, then the bull rush will come up the middle, so those guys need to be aware of assignments...

Let's hope he go so annoyed that he works hard to keep the C position now that he has the opportunity.
