He allegedly rejected a trade to the Vikings (2nd round), so they took Ezra Cleveland.

Have to trade him for another player at this point IMO. I would rather him sit out all year than give him away for a day 3 pick.

well he is old and eats cap space, they need to get rid of him ASAP. He is a depreciating asset.

The #Vikings felt like they were in position to do a similar deal — leading with a fourth this year instead of a fifth next year — but Trent Williams said he didn't want to do it. SF was waiting.

LOL

Not good enough for us but good enough for the Super Bowl team.
I think if we didnt do the Hump deal we would have tried to make something happen. Didnt have the money for it

I just didnt want him going to the 49ers. Rich get richer.

Old, often injured, hasn’t played in a while. The 49ers are just lighting assets on fire

Williams hasn't played 16 games in a season in 7 years. I'm still not happy that he went to the Niners, though.

DJ has played 1 in last 5.

Oh...and Williams has 7 Pro Bowls. How many does DJ have?

We will get to see it 2x a year now.

I can’t live in the past when it comes to NFL football… Past success means nothing moving into the future especially as you get on the wrong side of 30 and showing that your injury prone

Joe Staley going to retire due to health concerns
If true (which I think it is) we must all take a moment to watch one of my favorite clips of Joe Staley.

I hated how effing good he was. Congrats on your retirement bro.
