In 943 snaps thru first 15 gms Kyler Murray has not lost a fumble
This has been amazing me, considering that he carries the ball like a loaf of bread! Every time he runs i'm just waiting for someone to bat it out of his hand. He must be doing something right!

Reminds me of Terry Metcalf... minus the fumbles which is remarkable lol

By starting today, it makes the 9th time since Cardinals moved to AZ that the same QB started all 16 games. That is 9 times in 31 years. Jake has three of those by himself by starting all games in 3 of 5 years.

Timm Rosenbach
Dave Krieg <-Blown away by that one!
Jake Plummer X3
Kurt Warner
Carson Palmer X2 <- Really thought it was only one time!
Kyler Murray

Russell Wilson is 8 for 8 with his start tonight. Hope this is the start of the same.

Dave Krieg set the record for most times sacked that season.

Lots of ways to parse out this data, but for me it looks good that we actually finish the season going from almost 1/3 more 3 and outs per game to (about) below-average. Points per drive has also really surged, even making it to an average level against the 16th-ranked (Seattle) and 8th-ranked (LARM) defenses by DVOA on the road to end the year.

This graphic is interesting - (3 good games, then a bad one)*4, so we rebound well from our cyclical collapses. Kliff ain't a bad coach, I hope he ends up a great one though.

Murray's completion percentage of 64.39 is a club rookie record & among all Cardinals QBs only Kurt Warner ever had a higher one (67.1 in ’08, 66.1 in ’09 & 64.53 in ’05).

Just 4 rookies in NFL history finished with a higher completion percentage.
How many rookies in NFL history finished with 5 or more wins?

Mark Dalton should take a break from Twitter.

What else is he supposed to do to earn his salary as "Senior Vice president, media relations "?

It can't be much. I wish I could dig up stuff to Tweet about the Cardinals and be a Senior Vice President.

Plenty, but how many great QBs started their career with a worse record? I know Peyton Manning and Steve Young both fall into that category.

And there it is...

C'mon man...you're just being combative at this point.

The ship has sailed...Murray played better than any rookie QB this franchise has ever had and one of the best rookie years of any QB.

You don't have to agree with giving up on Rosen.
You don't have to be a Murray fan boy.
You don't have to like that we only won 5 games this year vs 3 last year (improvement)
You don't even have to like the guy.
But you can't deny his talent/performance as a rookie (especially compared to Rosen last year).

If you are just having fun being an antagonist...fine.
But don't you want to enjoy being a Cardinals fan? We haven't had much to cheer about in the past 50 years.
