I would be shocked if that was the case.

The standard that Murray has to live up to right now is through the roof. Bashing a guy on the way is not going to change it, and is probably just making a situation worse.

The Cardinals want to take a huge risk, and roll the dice. Fine.

Then the Cardinals as an organization should stand by their decision, and stop trying to make it easier on themselves.

The whole offseason is going against the grain of common NFL beliefs, the front office is going to take fire, and be constantly questioned and judged. If they are shocked by that, then it shows the character of the people running this club.
