That's an awful adjusted fg% for a big; especially one that was low volume and never the focus of a defense.

I think Bender has a lot of potential and has promise in a lot of enticing areas...but is it even an argument that he was really bad last year?

If you adjust for 20-year-old in over his head, there are some arguments to be made. As far as being a solid NBA contributor? He's not there yet.

Welcome to the bandwagon! It's currently headed to Cleveland, but I'm hoping it gets rerouted to the desert. Think of the floor spacing with Kemba, Booker, and Bridges! If only that team had a potentially dominant presence down low and an elite slasher...

I'm willing to give him a second chance. He was a borderline All-Star with Milwaukee (albeit in the East). He was thrown onto a team with Eric Bledsoe who had already secured the starting point guard spot and had to deal with an incompetent coach in Watson.

We already know he can shoot, but if he can even be an average distributor, he'll be a big improvement from what we ran with last year.

Lastly, his recent experiences have seemed to humble him and helped him gain a new appreciation for his role and opportunity.

This team needs a distrubutor, he will hinder the progress of the young guys Ayton can't pass to himself. Knight put up good numbers on a crap team much like Warren, he is a black hole and was statistically the worse player to play with, this team needs a distrubutor not this Garbage Can of a player. Read this, the season will be a disaster with this stooge running point and you guys laughed at Ball hahahahhahahaha

If you can get him now without giving up Booker, Jackson, Ayton, or Bridges I absolutely would go for him now and let the team gain chemistry. Not sure whether that's realistic or not...

Assuming Bridges is as advertised, "of course we don't know yet" JJ would be a huge asset for a trade.

What would JJ, Mil. and the suns pick bring.

Not saying we should trade him for Kemba but converting the Miami pick into Bridges opens other options.

I'd like for the Suns to trade for one of the three young promising PGs: Van Vleet, Wright, or Jones. I would think they could get one of them for a heavily protected pick or a minor piece. I'm good with throwing Warren out there for one of the three.

As far as free agency is concerned, I would add role players on short contracts and try to start winning now.

I don't care if JJ and Bridges are redundant. You rarely should trade high draft picks on rookie contracts. Plus they arent that redundant when both guys can play more than one position.

You trade Warren! He's one dimensional and no longer is on a rookie contract ...plus he's REDUNDANT.

As @pokerface stated, Warren should be the odd man out since his lone strength is mid-range scoring. Use him as a trade chip for a team that could use another scorer.

Yeah right. Not only what you stated plus the fact that Jackson and Bridges are better or have the potential of being better defenders than Warren.

Less upside
Not good defender
No longer on rookie contract
Older

His ONLY plus is he's a superior scorer...but not at threes!

Believe it or not certain teams are Chaplin. A few have a hole at small forward. Warren is a scorer...he is approaching his prime... he's locked in a contract for four more years...and his contract is reasonable .
