I thought Haden looked bad last year...was slower than ever because of injuries. Not a fan at this point. A few years ago, yes.

Agreed. He has been injured the last two years. He makes 10-11m/year, so there is no way you trade for him.

I think he gets cut and then you could give him a 1 year prove it deal.

Sounds like the Browns are hitting the reset button.

Now they are trying to trade 2015 1st round pick C/G/T Cameron Erving. Boy, I really liked him coming out. Has struggled at center, but I still think he could be a good center. At the very least he is a talented swing offensive lineman.

49ers just traded Vance McDonald and a 5th to the Steelers for a 4th

looks like things are getting transactional around the cut down

curious what realistic trade options there are for the Cards at positions of need?

where are they looking? WR? Ilb?

Steelers have a deep group of WRs -- curious if they would part with a Sammie Coates ( and, do you want Sammie Coates?)

Browns aren't moving Osweiller unless they eat a significant portion of his salary. Speaking of Browns QB's, has that guy in Cleveland updated his yard to include Kizer or does he wait until that particular QB is no longer starting?

If we are looking to trade for a spot...WR and TE are probably the top options.

Likely cost prohibitive, but in a vacuum, absolutely. It wasn't more than 3 years ago that he was in the discussion of best CB with PP21 and Sherman.

Bethel and both Williams have really stepped up, he's to expensive for the risk TBH.

I guess he will not be that expensive but other than that I agree with your assessment. At least for now, anyway. If Bethel and Williams again prove to be bad solutions as starters, then I would start to see if a capable veteran like Haden could be had at a reasonable prize. Not until then.

He has to be worth a flyer now right? I know Bethell has played well, but it was only preseason. If Haden can be signed for a one year deal I would go for it.

We won't be the only suitors, if interested, and doubt very much that he'll be signing a 1-year deal.

Yep, we could use him, but will not be willing to throw enough money at him to get him.

Hopefully Keim can work some magic to land him. Unlike Bethel (who will be a UFA after the season) & Williams, Haden is actually proven. Let's see what he can do on a contender opposite another elite CB in Peterson.

He has played in 18 of 32 games the last two years.
