I'm bummed too, but let's just remember:

Barkley: #5
KJ: #7
Chambers: #8
Amare: #9
Marion: #9
JJ: #10
Booker: #13
Nash: #15

With flops taken in the top 3 many years.

None of those led us to a title. :(

He meant Rooster. It's slang for chicken wings.

Seriously, **** gets through the sceening, but P&ssy doesn't?

**** of the walk, **** the gun and so on. There are a lot of non-vulgar uses for the word ****.

I've read a few comments on Reddit from Laker fans that karma bit the Suns because we tanked. fudge that. We tried like hell to make the playoffs for years at the end of and after the Nash era and drafted at the back of the lottery every damn time.

We drafted the likes of Robin Lopez, Earl Clark, Markieff Morris, and Kendall Marshall while other teams tanked and we're rewarded. We somehow pulled a gem off the scrap heap with Booker. We finally tank for once in our franchise history and get crap on for it.

Philly has been unapologetically tanking for a decade while the Lakers will now pick #2 for the 3 straight time. Don't Tell me the Lakers weren't tanking last year letting Kobe go on his farewell brick laying tour.

********.

And the thing is, what we did this year wouldn't even be called tanking 25 years ago. We were functionally out of it and we rested our veterans (and injury prone players). Yes, we did it a little earlier than usual (not by much) and we included a younger player in it but those of us that follow the Suns realize that playing Knight more minutes would have been a blatant tanking move.

Shaggy... on the rare night as beyond awful as tonight is, this board has ALWAYS been a little hands off letting people just vent in the face of complete and utter BS.

Just need to censor the word.

Dude seriously he's 19 and your calling him a lost cause already wow

He shouldnt even be in the NBA.

You dont learn the basics of any sport at the highest level. We dont have time for him to say his first words and then toddle down the hall.

Guy averaged 2 ppg as a backup in Europe...somebody explain to me why hes in the NBA?

I loathe projects. Especially ones that arent even as good as alot of high school juniors. Manut Bols 8 foot tall 15 year old son is probably better than Bender.

Question: How long do you think it will take Bender to be as good as Laurie right now?

Years, correct. Thats why I want Laurie and want to cut the infant.

The NBA is a joke and the worst part about it is that the rigging is so transparent to anyone with a brain.

I got the news via radio while at work, and when i heard the Suns got #4 i knew in that instant the F'ing Lakers got their balls licked yet again by the National Basketball Association of zero parity.

We haven't gone full up racial slurs, or anything yet. So I think we are good! LOL!
Any Germans in camps totally not related to the Holocaust out there that need to vent?

You have to be an idiot to cut a teenager after one year at the highest level of competition. Plus he moved his life halfway across the world.

As an Arizona fan I think it's ludacris taking Markkanen in the top-5. Btw Bender is still younger so let's give him a couple years.

What makes Markannen better than Kaminsky or Zeller? He's just another tall stiff who can shoot. If he isn't playing defense when he's playing against inferior competition then what makes you think he'll turn it on in the pro's? He's one dimensional and it's highly unlikely he's better than Bender in a few years. As stated Bender is actually younger, is a better defender, and has much better footwork. He's also on about the same level as a shooter. Markannen will be a stretch 4, stretch 5 similar to Kaminsky, Hawes, Zeller, and best case scenario Kelly Olynyk while Bender has shown in his very limited time that he should be able to play SF, PF, or C, and not just as a stretch player, but because he was the speed and vertasility to play offnesively and defensively inside, outside, and on the wing.

Bender is already better defensively by miles. Lauri is tissue soft and yeah that's fine when he can stand on the 3 point line and chuck up 3s but on defense he's 7 feet he's gonna be expected to be in the paint and rebound and that's something he's shown he can't do. He's a one trick pony

Benders upside is way higher

He's not a bad rebounder but not a volume guy. And he's no rim protector. I like him though as he's multi-skilled on the offensive end. He's not just a shooter. But not at 4.
