Come on BA, CJ is averaging 5 ypc, how many 3rd and 4th and 2's do we leave on the field by not giving him the rock???

Dammit!

That was some Pete Carroll-esque nonsense right there. Side note, on that 3rd and 2, Fitz was open just past the line for the first down, but Palmer threw it long to Brown instead.

I have no idea why after those 14, 12, 22 yard gains from CJ, he never goes to him again in that drive. Stupid..

It's always easy to second guess. The Cards have been throwing in that situation for 3 years under Arians. It didn't work today. That happens.

Yep. Palmer should get the heat more than Arians. But I'll still take CP any day.

1 to 3 times and it fails... you could call it second guessing.. He did it all damn day.
Worst play calling from BA I've seen to this point.

Maybe you say it was bad execution on the players part, because that's what it was. Guys were open.

I almost never complain about the play calling, especially when it's BA because he is an amazing play caller. Having said that I was chanting run the ball. We needed to kill clock anyways and we had two downs to get the 1st down. Plus CJ and DJ could easily have broken it for a long gain.

The game wasn't lost by that call, it was lost by 4 TO's and crappy play in the red zones by both the O and D.

Yep. It isn't a bad play call if a guy is open, it was just poor execution.

I like CP but he threw 2 stinkers in a row.

They also could have easily lost 2 yards. Everyone acts like running for 2 was a guarantee.

Our ypc say it was a high probability.

As far as Arians having a history of throwing in those situations, I agree, and it makes him predictable in that regard.

With how we were running the ball, BA's tendency to throw the ball and that even if we did lose 2 yds we still had another down to throw for it.

3 plays to get 2 yards with running plays. If we can't do that then we deserve to lose

Make the first down and then for the field position for the FG

constant pressure had him a little rattled, I think. He made some gorgeous throws, but definitely was hurrying on others.

If you can't complete a pass to 2 wide open receivers you deserve to lose also. Same thing.

These 3 wins we started the season with , all those big scoring drives , they all start with Bruce Arians . When the team comes out to the field with a lack of focus and discipline
(can't find it's collective A$$ with both hands) that all starts with Bruce Arians too . I chocked this and what I saw as sporadic play calling up to BA over celebrating his birthday (hang-over) . .I have repeatedly called BA the best HC in the NFL , and still believe that . I wouldn't want to be the Lions next week !!!!

Typical BA playcalling (which got us 2 winning seasons), several atypical Palmer misses.

It happens.

Then there were times he held onto the ball entirely too long - and usually got sacked.

Pass it or throw it away. C'mon, CP !!!

You're really going with the BA got hammered the night before the game theory and that affected his play calling.......wow.

You get the award for being the first(it's been awhile too) to allow me to use this video this year:

I kind of disagree with this. This is the point in ball games where despite the fact you played poorly for 58 minutes and you are somehow still in the ball game, you figure out a way to win. I think if you put GB, Den, NE, Sea, in this position they end up winning this game. For whatever reason in the same situation BA/CP have a brain fart.
