Well, guess we will be seeing a lot of Stanton again this year if something isn't changed. Our RT is a real worry. God I wish we could make a great trade or find a older pro off waiver wire still. I would be willing to trade one of our really good player for a solid RT from another team. Wonder if any starters are still holding out with someone? It will be a shame to waste all our weapons by having our QB on the injury list for a lot of the year.

Just gotta make it thru the first three games and then Massie can lock it down. Saints, Bears, Niners are not defenses that should strike fear into the Cards. Just gotta get thru 3.

Massie won't be the savior. Our best hope for above average RT play is Humphries development. Massie and Sowell are interchangeable parts.

Sowell got smoked on that play. He is definitely a weak link on the line.

I still think he will be the downfall of CP as it only takes one big shot on our QB to lose him for the year as we witnessed last year.

This is why I am in favor of BA getting on Hump's butt about not working hard enough to take the position. He is a first round pick and we need him to play at his full potential.

I know that injuries are a major concern. But putting together an OL takes time, and pass pro, which includes RB's and TE's is going to take time. I'm sure in the regular season, offensive tackles will be watching film and won't be taken by surprise by Ingram's (great) spin move. Hopefully, it will come together. Keep in mind:
1. KC game=Good pass pro. Bad run blocking.
2. SD game=The opposite of the above.

I forgot to mention the Humphries sack that got BA's attention. It looked like the defender fouled Humphries with a hit to the head/face mask.

Sowell is a complete disaster at OT, if he's our best option until massie is back that's pretty unnerving.

I didn't catch more than one replay but I thought the pass rusher was offsides when he blew past Jared for the sack.

Massie was just as bad as Sowell was last night and he was playing 3rd stringers.

Our starting RT may very well not be on the roster yet.

Seems like this is going to be another wasted year as the offseason was all about improving the offensive line.

Maybe it's just me, but I thought Ingram executed a perfect spin move on that play and wasn't inclined to roast Sowell for it when I was watching the actual game.

I thought the same.

No matter who the Cardinals tackles are, until the Cardinals get legitimate edge rushers who can give the tackles bona fide competition in practice, the first quarters of games versus good edge rushers will continue to be major adjustment periods.

Sowell hasn't seen a spin move as quick and explosive as Ingram's at the Cardinals' camp.

I wouldn't get too up in arms about this yet. At least a couple of those sacks were clearly game planned and involved sending extra guys, which I don't think we expected at all. Didn't even have someone assigned to block the extra player. Total low brow move by a team desperate to show their fans this season isn't going to be a disaster.

When scrubs like Melvin Ingram are running circles around your tackle, you know your in trouble.

I'd take that scrub on our team any day. Injuries have been the main thing keeping him from being highly productive.

Massie was pretty good last year against the 1st stringers. He'll be fine when he gets back out there in a normal game situation and playing with his regular linemates.

Sowell leans forward a lot. He's got to get his center of gravity and balance better.
