Cardinals are America's 19th Favorite Team. Cowboys no longer #1.

Good share, I have to question that poll though. Just doesn't pass the eye-test when the Steelers, Bears and Packers play on the road and almost every stadium is half full of their fans.

I know it says "adults" but this poll seems like they conducted it amongst 15 year old boys who all go with the latest trend. I mean I know the Seahawks just won the Superbowl but there is no way they are ranked that high in popularity, above the 49ers and Bears.

More to your point though, even if the poll is the way I think it is it's still cool that we are where we are considering we've been almost irrelevant since 2010. This organization has come a long way forsure.

America's team goes from the dude riding the horse to the horse itself. CONSPIRACY! PETA rigged the poll.

I would rather it be Dallas. As much as I hate Dallas, Denver is by far my most hated team. I have never talked to more idiots who are "Bronco" fans who have a) Never been to the city of Denver b) Never seen a game live c) Can't name more than two to three players on their team that they are so diehard for. It makes me sick.

I think you underestimate the number of bandwagoners that exist even among adults. There's probably also a difference between those who say they follow football and those who would pay to see a game. The numbers may change if that was the qualifier.

Yeah, like all the Cardinal fans that jumped on board because of Warner.

I stick with people here, it's one of the few reasons I do (rather than go to the "official board"), because I know ya'll have been fans forever. Not only that but you guys really seem to know football. I remember wanting a team so bad and finally getting one, even though they sucked so hard, it was a blessing.

When I was younger, I went to games all the time, but now it's just 1 or 2 a year--my wife really doesn't enjoy it anymore and it's been difficult. I feel a kindred spirit with people who have suffered similarly through the SDS days (I still think SDS sounds like a disease ready to infect us at any moment, and the seats burned my ass so hard in the summer, Jesus). I've lived here all my life and I'm just waiting to celebrate a championship with you all. We have to have one massive party when that happens.

Don't care who is most popular though. Most of society likes winners. Winners and Cinderella's but they only like the 'rella's for about 5 minutes. I know Cards fans are hardcore. They have to be. Can't get that anywhere else.

Dont know if you were there, but when the Cards went to the Superbowl we had a big ASFN party at a place near the stadium, the news was there and everything! It was a blast. English on tour was there from abroad, bunch of ASFNers, WHEN we go back the SuperBowl, we're doing that again you better believe it!

This occurred the weekend of the NFC championship vs. the Eagles, not Super Bowl weekend.

I usually debunk their claims by asking them some trivia questions on their team. Strange that I usually know more about the history of their teams than they do.

Want to see bandwagon fans, look at the lines for the Bucs and the Rams.
Tampa went from 18 to 4 then back to 17. St Louis went from 29 to 5 then 11 before heading back into the 20s.

Do the Broncos go back to the late teens after Peyton retires?

NFL.com has a new poll up of "Who's the best team in the NFC?" and here are the current results:

16% Eagles
36% Cowboys
13% 49ers
7% Cardinals
16% Seahawks
12% Packers

Poll is on the bottom right of this page

I was there, Cbus, Gamebird98, Jeff The Shark, Shane, Cheese and Ouchie. Just to name a few of the ones that came from out of town. The was the night before the NFC Championship game. But I can't remember the name of the place we were at. I think Jerseygirl set up the event.

Edit: I guess I should have read the whole thread before posting.
