seems to be looking good so far

Mettenberger has thrown for 504 yards overall this preseason, which is the most in the league, but has also turned the ball over four times. While the rookie’s upside is almost certainly better than anything we’ve seen from Whitehurst over the course of his career, so is the downside right now and that may explain why Mettenberger remains in the third spot.

When does throwing 4 INTs and failing to unseat Clipboard Jesus equate to "looking good"?

They didnt mention the 4 picks in the article.

Whiz doesnt play rookies so he never had a chance to unseat anyone.

Titans rookie quarterback Zach Mettenberger has completed 31-of-44 passes for 417 yards and a touchdown over the last two weeks while Charlie Whitehurst has been out of the lineup with an injury to his throwing hand.

Most everything sounds good but again, they left out the picks.

That many turnovers against defenders that will see sparse playing time is disconcerting.

I am with you guys and believe Bortles, Bridge and Manziel will all be starting sometime this season.

I have watched quite a bit of the Titans preseason and Zack has looked real good. Very calm back there and people here are happy with the pick thus far.

We shall see.

Talk about A&M putting a whoooppin on!!! Wow!!!

Sumlin ran the Air Raid offense long before Johnny Football. He modified his scheme for Johnny's skill set. Now it is back to business with Kenny Hill at QB.

I wanted Bridgewater coming out. He needs to gain some muscle weight but I think he's got the tools and accuracy to be a good QB.

The best rookie qb this year will be Carr

I agree. Also think he is in a great position to grab a starting job as Schaub looks washed up. Bortles should be starting soon as he doesn't have good competition in Jacksonville. I also figure Manziel will grab the starting job at some point this season. I think Bridgewater has looked very good, but Cassell has looked good as well-- not sure Cassell loses the job.
