Agree, not to mention the fact that the NFL may make an example out of him when it comes to their upcoming domestic violence policy. If they take into consideration all his infractions on top of domestic violence he may miss significant time next year as well, if not another full season, as you stated.
I really believe we should just move on from him in our minds, as fans, because it's going to be awhile before we see him play again, if at all.
I also wouldn't be a bit surprised if the organization eventually takes legal action to recoup some of the money invested in him. It's happened before for lesser infractions.
For me personally, I'm done with the dude and don't care if he plays for us again. If he were to play for us again I would actually feel kind of cheap rooting for him, after all the grief I've given other players (Ray Rice and others). If we're going to win it all or make a playoff push, at this point, I'd rather it be without him.
Where do we draw the line? Anyone want big Ben leading our team? He wasn't even convicted but the taste and gut feeling is all wrong. Some people on this board don't want Michael Sam, even at bargain basement prices, if available. Something is wrong with the way we view women. With the way we view athletes and celebrities and omg gays. Let's get a damn grip.
It's kind of weird to me that so many people are against bringing in Harrison but have no problem bringing DWash back. Don't want Michael Sam even though he has more sacks than our entire team. But holy crap when is DWash returning? It's utterly ridic.
